This was my third attempt at buying sunglasses from Amazon and thankfully, third time's the charm! I really wanted a pair of purple polarized aviator glasses... started with MK Chelsea, which were ridiculously large on my face. Second try was Oakley Tie Breaker, which were too small. I was about to give up on online sunglasses purchases when I ran into someone in person who had these and they are perfectly sized... YAY! They're solidly made, but lightweight. I actually forget sometimes that I'm wearing them. While they're not as dark as what I'm used to, the polarization is great, so they reduce the glare enough to make up for the shade difference. The purple lenses are beautiful and I love that they're silver frames instead of the usual gold. The sizing is perfect... not oversized and not too small. The fact that these don't get stuck in my hair when I put them on my head is a huge plus. My only disappointment is that the listing said these were made in USA but mine were made in China. I'm sure these are authentic though and the quality still seems to be great, I just really would have preferred a pair made in the USA. These are my first Oakley's since, well, 20 or more years ago and I was tentative to order these, but I really wanted snag-free aviators that were polarized and a good quality. These have fit the bill and then some! The nose pieces are still metal with pads, but have a wire in place that keeps them from snagging hair when they are on your head. The size is perfect for a small head/face like mine. If you're looking for large aviator lenses, you shouldn't get these, but if you have a smaller face, these still have a slight wrap around on the sides, which is much nicer than the ones that are totally flat with no curve. These stay in place both on my face and on the top of my head, which is important to me because I'm active when I'm outside. I highly recommend these sunglasses! ... show more

I’m a guy. But I don’t have a huge melon. I wear a 7 in a fitted hat. So aviators are often times a little too big on my face. Especially if I wear a hat with them. But these glasses nailed it. Plus they are pretty good, being Oakley. Yeah it is just another luxotica brand, that’s not as good as they used to be, and Oakley don’t use glass. But they are pretty damn good. ... show more
