My nordic track bike didn't come with a power cord. This one does the trick. No more D batteries needed! My only complaint is the chord is short considering it is intended for exercise equipment. So the computer on the machine needs to be facing the plug/wall or you need to run an extension chord. Nordic track should know better and make a longer chord. You know, it's funny...the adaptor that they show in the picture actually looks like the one you got from Nordic Track when you bought your exercise equipment. The one that they actually send you, however, does not. It's in what looks like a Nordic Track package...but the adaptor itself is different, and the brand on it is "Innov." I don't always expect that cords are made by the same company that makes the equipment that they power (they often are not), but there's a colossal issue with this one: IT DOES NOT WORK. Unless you count powering up the display to continually flash on and off as "working." Even worse, it appears that this is a known issue, and yet they are still selling the things. Don't waste your time or money; if I could give it negative stars, I would. ... show more

I bought the AC power adapter to replace the original unit, the cord of which one of our cats mistook as her personal chew toy. (Dusty still exhibits no signs of remorse nor does she seem to have any sense of accountability for her actions. Perhaps it’s a species thing, idk. Negotiations are ongoing.) The package arrived ahead of Amazon’s projected delivery date and intact. The adapter works flawlessly with our NordicTrack recumbent bike.
