I wasn't sure if there would be play issues, due to the version, and me being in the US, but it played great. This was my first Pokémon video game, and from what I understand, my only mistake in getting this is that now the other ones won't seem quite as good. I've beaten the game now, but there are still plenty of side quests and things to do.

Of the modern Pokemon games, probably the best. Especially good for those who prefer more open-ended games like Minecraft or Breath of the Wild rather than a typical RPG.
