I was really excited to try the New Balance 410 V7 Trail Running Shoes, as they have great reviews for comfort and durability. The shoes look fantastic, feel well-made, and seem perfect for light trail running or hiking. However, I had to return them because the size didn’t work for me. Pros: ✅ Comfortable cushioning – The midsole provides a good balance of softness and support. ✅ Good traction – The outsole has a nice grip, making them suitable for various terrains. ✅ Breathable & durable – The mesh upper allows airflow while still feeling sturdy. ✅ Versatile design – They look great for both trails and casual wear. Sizing Tip: Ordering hiking or trail running shoes online can be tricky because hiking socks are thicker than regular socks, and feet can swell after hours of walking. I ordered my usual size, but when I tried them on at home with hiking socks, they felt a bit too snug. If you wear thick socks or need extra room, I’d recommend going half a size up. Final Thoughts: These are excellent trail running shoes with great comfort and grip. I had to return mine due to sizing, but that was my mistake, not the seller’s fault. I ordered a 7.5, which is my standard size, but they're almost too small, but not too tight to wear. I wear these to work and they give excellent support and substantial cushioning. They are water resistant and I love the muted touch of purple. I needed all black shoes for work, but the purple is subtle enough that they allowed them to pass by without comment. Just order a half size bigger than your normal size and you'll be happy with your purchase. I will soon be ordering a back up pair in a size 8. ... show more

I love these, I have a small wide foot, I get a 6.5 and they’re very comfortable for my high instep and high arch. I use them for walking and until I find a shoe that fits for Pickle Ball I’m using them for Pickle Ball. I have no problem with them..

I've warn New Balance running / trail shoes for approx. 44 years. This model looks and fits more like the models of many years ago which I much prefer. The newer models with "fresh form" (What ever the heck that is.) feels cheap, unsupportive and the over all shoes were nothing like the New Balance shoes I've warn for decades sending 2 pairs back to Amazon. Then, I sent another pair back (Don't have model number here.), because they didn't fit true to size and ran small. These fit perfect as have 95% of the models I have warn over all these years!     • Good shoe, inconsistent sizing
I bought a pair of these at the start of the school year and wore them almost every day while teaching. One got a hole in the fabric so I bought a new pair in a different color, same size. The other pair for perfectly, but these are tight enough that I can barely tie the laces. It's fine, I plan to replace the laces anyway, but the inconsistent sizing is annoying. It seems like every pair of New Balance shoes needs a different size. I used to shop at the outlet and I'd try on two different styles in the same size and one would be too loose and the other would be too tight. That said, if you can find a pair that fit, they're good shoes, which is why I keep buying them. I have arthritis in one ankle and these are the best brand I've found that allows me to do what I love: be on my feet all day teaching. ... show more

These are my absolute favourite models from New Balance, and I was so delighted to find them at a great price on Amazon when my last pair finally wore out. I've been to the New Balance outlets recently and the cheapest I could find a pair of running shoes there even with coupons and discounts was $56+ tax. And that wasn't the model I wanted. It seems like moving forward, New Balance are going very much into the 'fresh foam' style shoes. Which is frustrating because I have worn New Balance runners for 12+ years now, and that is not my style at all. I don't find them comfortable for long periods of running / walking. I would suggest though, unless someone knows that they specifically want this model, to either Try Before You Buy - or try going to a local running store and try them on. Strangely this pair seems slightly smaller than my previous pairs - and the shoe laces are definitely shorter. I'm assuming it'll stretch after I break them in properly but for sure, they're slightly on the smaller side for the size I always wear.
