I have mixed feelings on this lotion. PRO - The lotion really hydrated well leaving my hands feeling extremely soft and smooth. The lotion bottle is a pump action so it is much easier to apply than a squeeze tube; and the lotion bottle size is big volume for the price. CON - The lotion fragrance is really overpowering and made my head ache the longer it was on my hands, the smell did not dissipate but seemed to grow instead. Another odditity is that although I did not get an immediate rash from the lotion, my skin (which is extremely sensitive) felt a very prickly itchy sensation which is a precursor for a rash to develop for me - I had to wash off. Weird, in that I use multiple Moroccan oil hair products in my daily hair routine and do not have these problems whatsoever. So although the body lotion works well as advertised it does not work for my sensitive skin despite using other Moroccan oil hair products with no problems. Just a cautionary tale for sensitive skin sufferers' - although the lotion is not advertised as sensitive skin so no complaints' on Moroccan oil company as a whole and will continue to use the Moroccan oil hair products that I love. Note - Only marked down 1 star In my rating because it was my optimistic mistake for not being more cautious with my purchase as the lotion does not say sensitive skin. Bummer in that I love the Moroccan oil hair line and wanted to branch out to the Moroccan oil body line. ... show more

So I read the reviews it was 50/50 mixed reviews but I got it anyway, I love lotions and trying out different kinds of lotions to see what I like best but also finding something that really moisturizes my skin and leaves it silky and soft, so I thought I buy this to try it out for myself ignoring the mixed reviews, when I got it and tried it out for the first time after taking a shower it smelled like burned out candles wasn’t a fan and not a fan of the smell, I thought it would smell good but it wasn’t the greatest of smells but still using it cause I paid good money for it, I also thought to myself maybe cause it was left out in the heat for too long, I lived in Arizona and now live here in Texas but these Moroccan oil products or any kind or products aren’t suppose to be in high heat only room temperature or a cool place so I thought maybe the heat had changed the smell to it but then again the texture was fine so maybe it wasn’t the heat, I don’t know, I just don’t really care too much for the smell of the lotion, the quality is good but maybe if they did a better job to put a better scent to it, was it worth the money probably not, especially if it smelled like burnt candles but the softness works great for dry skin, maybe try an different scent i don’t know? now I’m skeptical about it, I want to love this lotion and the scent but I can’t, my dad says it smells like burnt candles, the scent is what bothers me soo much ... show more
