Why did you pick this product vs others?: Price . After doing some research and figuring it out finally tuned the antenna and it works really good. It's just the lack of information that they give you about it when certain stuff does not match what it says in the description so I changed it from one to three stars since it does work good once you figure it out and tune it in

Decent range with it mounted at about 7ft on the roof of my truck I can hit my repeater full quiet on 20 watts from 36 miles.

A blind orangutan could have done a better job of assembling this antenna. It is certainly not worth the money or time wasted.

It's hard to keep the swr , have to reset it every few months, use dielectric grease helps when putting the base to the magnet
