    • Fantastic quiet saw
Why did you pick this product vs others?: This thing is fantastic, coming from a corded Skill circular saw. The best thing about it is that it is quiet. That was a surprise. I hate screaming tools. I don't know how much the blade contributes to the quieter operation. If that blade is necessary, I will likely start buying those blades. I think it is mainly lower speed that is making it quieter. If it is quieter, it is not making it easier to stall. The Skill stalled much more. I think the Milwaukee stalled only once, so far. I did find the buttons to turn it on unintuitive and somewhat awkward. But the thing is just so good, I can't see giving it only 4 stars. It is light, but not too light. And depth is easier to get dialed in. Only thing better would be a knob that you twist, and it adjusts it smoothly and autolocks, and shows cut depth and angle digitally on a screen. Somehow, such a thing I doubt would be in this price class. I am comparing a $50 saw to a $250-300 saw, so no surprise that it is better. But it is better by a mile. ... show more
