A friend of ours uses one on the trailer at the hitch to help with leveling. The magnet is strong enough to stay put while driving down the road. We have not used ours yet as it is currently March in Michigan and won’t start camping for another month. I will update after use.

Everything about this level seems better than the very equivalent Stabila pocket level I wanted to replace with this. Stronger magnets, bigger vial, pitch markings -- but rotating 180 degrees, it's off by roughly 0.5%, which doesn't sound like a lot, but that's like 1/8" per foot. It also noticeably does not have the accuracy tolerance marked on the level or anywhere in the packaging I can see, whereas Stabila very clearly guarantees better than 1mm/m (0.057 deg) and also square within +/- 0.1 degree, which isn't fantastic but it shows their philosophy. Just for laughs I was checking how square the machined surfaces were vs a machinist's square and some 1-2-3 blocks and the plumb side magnet popped right out. Actual trash. Never buying a Milwaukee again. I've had magnets pop out of my 10" Stabila torpedo, but that's after being dropped over 10ft several times and accuracy wise it's still dead on. ... show more
