I love this light. This one I got from Amazon was way cheaper than the one I saw at Home Depot, so I took a chance on it, and I'm so glad I did. I haven't had a single issue with it. It's not super bright, so if your looking for a very bright light, look elsewhere. Plenty bright for my uses, though.

    • A Solid, Basic light
The light certainly works fine, but I did not do any real research ahead of time so I was surprised by it's limitations. My usual flashlight is a Duracell that takes four AAA batteries. Advantages over the Duracell include that this light will sit and allow pointing the beam anywhere from level to straight up, freeing up both hands. It has a built-in hook, allowing it to be hung. And of course the life of even the smallest M18 battery is far, far beyond what 4 AAA cells could provide. But I was surprised that the beam is actually not as bright as the Duracell, and is not adjustable at all, while the Duracell can be zoomed between quite narrow (and concentrated) and quite wide. I understand that the comparison is not entirely appropriate, but those are my thoughts. ... show more
