  • Another Wonderful Millie Fleur Adventure
Format: Hardcover
Millie Fleur’s Poison Garden is another charming and delightful story with beautiful illustrations. My 4-year-old granddaughter absolutely loves Millie Fleur La Fae and hearing about all of her adventures in Garden Glen. This book keeps her engaged from beginning to end and makes our reading time together so special. We enjoy this book just as much as Millie Fleur Saves the Night. A fun surprise is that, like the others, it includes delightful extras at the end that add even more magic for young readers. We love this series so much that I’ve already purchased two additional Millie Fleur books that haven’t even been released yet. I highly recommend this book—and the entire series—to anyone looking for enchanting, beautifully illustrated stories for young children. ... show more

  • A book about the love of gardening and respecting differences
Format: Hardcover
This is a really sweet book about a girl who loves gardening, but who is interested in unusual plants that freak out the rest of the neighborhood. She is guided by her wise mother who helps her find a way to introduce the neighbors to her passion without creating antagonism, and afterwards, the neighbors begin to appreciate some of the unique plants that Millie is growing. The illustrations are well-suited for the story, and the names of the plants are a riot! My daughter loves gardening, and her little one, for whom I bought this book, loves to help in the garden. The story is just right for a 4 year old to understand and enjoy. ... show more

  • Fun book for the imaginative kiddo!
Format: Hardcover
This is a great story about a young girl with decidedly eccentric tastes in gardening. Millie Fleur's Poison Garden is the scandal of the neighborhood. Will the neighbors adapt, or does Millie need to pull all her plants? The last couple of pages discusses real plants that are, well, eccentric. I wish the author/illustrator could have included mention of Venus flytraps, pitcher plants, and corpse flower! ... show more
