I searched in store and online for some gray boots and found these. Being a name brand, I thought they'd look great. I was wrong. When they arrived, they did not look like they do in the photo. They were not a medium gray as pictured. They were a non-uniform colored charcoal - almost black, and were made to look discolored as though they were worn, with different shades across the toe and other spots (like someone took a sponge and splotched different shades). This was not visible in the photos. They also felt and looked cheap, not like in the photo, and especially around the thigh they looked almost like a hard plastic. Interesting to see the price has increased by more than $50 from what I paid about 4 weeks ago, too. Maybe with the right outfit they'd look ok, but I immediately returned mine. ... show more

These boots would be better suited for someone taller. I’m 5’1 and the height of the boot shaft hit my knees at the most unflattering part making my knee and lower thigh look pudgy. I need either shorter boot or above the knee. Otherwise the size 8 was TTS and heel height was okay and comfy for the 5 mins I had them on. I consider myself a wide calf and these were a good fit around the calf, I was able to pull them off without unzipping but if over jeans/pants, I may had to use some muscle. ... show more

Beautiful classy boots! These boots are as beautiful in person as they were on Carolyn Bessette Kennedy. In the photo they appeared too narrow for my foot, but they weren’t. They are plenty wide for my calf too. They are timeless!!

Boots are beautiful! Comfortable. However, I’m giving 3 stars because the calf was small- I have zero issues with regular calf sizes fitting me. These were tight and made the boots scrunch- otherwise I would’ve kept the boots.

Never in my life have I felt the need to own a leopard print article of clothing or footwear. Until these boots. They are gorgeous. They are comfortable. The heel height is perfect, not too high, but just enough to be elegant. The pictures are spot on - what you see is what you get. If they are available in your size DO NOT sleep on these. My boots arrived today. This item does not deserve any stars because the boots are very different from the picture shown. I'm quite disappointed because I was expecting a grey boot, but these look more black than grey. I like the style and fit, but I ordered a grey boot, and this is not it.
