These shoes were awesome in every way. The color was right, the size was right (and I wear a 5W - hard to find), etc. They were very, very comfortable. The price was right (then), also. I always put them on a shelf, until one night I was ill, and left them on the floor. Our small dog had a 'field day,' chewing them to the point, of not being wearable. I would gladly buy another pair, BUT, the price has risen so much, I am not going to do so. Even on 'sale,' the price is too much now. These are mules, they are not dress shoes, and the price should reflect that. My salary hasn't risen to the percentage that the price of these shoes have rise, and, so for that reason, I am OUT!
