I have been a Ray-ban guys for years. Have about 10 pairs. One thing I didn't like about RB's is two newer pairs with the reflective look, reflect light from the back of me back into my eyes while driving my convertible. It actually blinds my eyes for a while after driving. These new MJ's don't do that and they are perfect for driving. Very clear and crisp. Surprised RB's haven't come up with a similar lens. Either way I may now be a MJ guy. The ear part of the frames is very flimsy but that is one purpose. They can't break. Very light and comfortable. I would like to see some more creative designs. I work as a pilot, so I require a really good pair of sunglasses. These are my go to. They are lightweight and thin. You barely feel them on your face. I am currently on my third pair. As much as I love these and highly recommend... buyer beware.. with the light frame they are easy to break.

Lenses are great, although not dark. Rated a 3 on a 1-5 scale (MJ's, not my rating) for the blue mirrors. Frames are not adjustable in any way since all is plastic. But, they are feather-weight; do not even know they're there type-of-weight. Only have had for a week, but have abused them strongly and they surprisingly were in one piece and still square after a riotous weekend. No scratches, either, but I think I just got lucky on that. Also, I have a large-ish head (one size fits all adjustable hats are not for me) and they fit very nicely. Previous MJs have been excellent glasses for me and am expecting same for these. ... show more

Really do not like them. They’re pretty, but did not block the sun at all. Very wimpy I’ve already been to them and they’re broken. Do not waste your money on this.

This pair of sunglasses is a game changer for me! Super light weight and so comfortable that you forget you have sunglasses on! They are easily adjustable so getting that perfect fit is simple. I have high cheek bones and glasses some times ride on my cheeks making them uncomfortable after a while. Not so the case with these Mui Jim Hema Rimless sunglasses. They have just the right amount of tint, not too dark or light. One day when they were hanging around my neck, I accidentally squished them between me and my truck. I saw the lens popped off of the arm. I was devastated! I thought I had broken them until upon closer inspections, I found the lens and arm could be reattached simply by popping them back together. This is my third pair of Maui Jim’s. I have quite the collection of Oakleys and Ray Bans, yet I always find myself going back to my Maui Jim’s. They are very light and stay on your head (you won’t catch yourself pushing the glasses up ). I am not an optical expert, so I can’t give a dissertation on optical quality. What I do know is , I can seeing clearly even when the sun is in my eyes (while driving ). If you are on the fence , just take the leap and pick these up. ... show more

Maui Jim are all I wear for sunglasses and I have several pairs. These are the same quality lenses I’m used to but the frames are quite flimsy and I’m constantly realigning them so they aren’t cockeyed on my face. They also will not stay on a hat visor at all. I always keep them in the case until I put them on but due to the couple issues I mentioned I’ve been wearing older pairs instead. My least favorite pair of MJ shades I’ve owned. ... show more
