I was using arctic fox. I had to re-dye every 3+ washes. I use strawberry leopard color shampoo, conditioner, plus hair mask. I used two tube for just below the shoulder length hair. It doesn't have the scent added like other semi-permanent dye. I left it on about an hour after my hair was covered. I've washed my hair with the SL safe shampoo and conditioner line 6x or more since the 5th. There is barely any fading, just use cold water. Very vibrant and it glows under blacklist This will be my go-to hair dye. Red is already a hard color to maintain, but this makes it worth it. Just buy this

This is the best hair dye I’ve ever tried in terms of fading. Love the color too. Will stain your pillows and skin for a few days after initial application, had to wipe my forehead with micellar water each night

2 tubes of red velvet on medium length hair that was bleached lightly beforehand. Unfortunately I managed not only to run out of dye, but when it dried after washing, it was more highlighter red/nearly magenta than I expected. The color itself wouldn't have been that much of an issue (i intended to darken it once my roots grew out a little) except 2 days later I was blood orange. It didn't last nearly as long as I expected 'professional' to last- by the time my 2nd wash came around I was nearing blonde territory with intertwined streaks of brassy orange. I had to use the Manic Panic temp spray to hide the blonde bits until i could get more dye. The saddest part is ONE SMALL JAR of the regular Manic Panic in Vampire Red managed to get everything all one shade, no streaks, no issues, no fading, one shade-ish darker. I've been using that one for a decade and it seems I was wrong to be led astray by this. I hate to say it but Professional is not nearly as on point as the original formula, at best it's a base color.

I have used Manic Panic regular. I tried this Manic Panic Professional because I thought it would be more vibrant and maybe last longer. It wasn’t and didn’t. It was ok, but I prefer the color of the regular one, it’s cheaper and lasts just as long as this one.

I’ve been using different colors and brands for over 15 years. Manic Panic has always been a favorite because of the vibrancy of the color and color options but I hated how much it would bleed color and fade. I used this professional one on my preteen and the color has held on pretty well. I didn’t notice it bleeding color anywhere after washing 24 hours later either. Usually he has to tag a hand towel with him to Jiu Jitsu for a week after dying his hair from the color bleeding with his sweat. He didn’t have to with the professional Manic Panic color.

I would describe my hair color as med-dark ash, and I followed the instructions performing a clarifying wash a day prior to using this gel color. The gel went on easy had a dark black/purple hue (color used was smoke screen/grey). Left on for 30-35 rinsed out. When I raised it there was no color raising out it was clear but I rinsed for 5 minutes in case. Tow led dried then blow out. No color change noticed at all. Would not recommend this product.
