I have sensitive skin so I try to use products with little to no fragrance. This product does have fragrance but it is near the end of the ingredient list so it’s not overly fragranced. I have had no irritation since using. I also have combination skin - dry to normal cheeks and oily in my T-zone. This was my first time buying this product as well as any Mac product so in no way was I a Mac girl. I have tried this product two different ways with the first being a complete fail. I used this after applying my makeup as a setting spray and it made my face look quite oily and my foundation did not last even with setting powder. The second way I used it, I sprayed it after moisturizing and applied my makeup while my face was still wet to damp. I swear my makeup looked like a second skin and stayed on all day. I don’t think my makeup has ever blended in so well. I have not applied makeup without using this spray since that day, which means I will be ordering more and trying other Mac products. So try it both prior and after applying makeup to see which way works best for your skin. ... show more

It blended my makeup into something youthful and glowing at the same time sealing it for a long day. Cannot wait to try it on my humid trips, that will be the ultimate test. I've tried so many and there are some that are great at holding things in place but don't melt everything together first.

I had heard so many wonderful things about Fix+ that I had to try it, so I purchased it from Amazon. I've been using it for a few weeks now, and I like it, but I don't know that I'd buy it again after I run out of it. I too have oily skin and haven't noticed it making my skin any more oily when I use it in the morning, but I don't really like using it as a "refresher." I find that towards the middle of the day, when my skin is starting to get oily, if I put on Fix+ it just makes it feel worse. Each time I did that I ended up just washing my face with my regular face wash because I couldn't stand the feeling. Fix+ is also supposed to make your skin "healthier" because of all of the vitamins and minerals in it. I don't personally notice a difference on my skin, but then again, all skin is different. I do enjoy using it in the morning after I put on my makeup to set said makeup. I do find that useful as it tends to settle any powder that I use and keep it from appearing powdery on my face. I've also heard Fix+ is wonderful to use as a mixing medium for pigments or eye shadows that can be used wet. I haven't tried that yet, but I've heard great things. Fix+ does smell really wonderful. It's a very clean, fresh scent that's not too strong. That's a definite plus. So, to summarize: Pros: - Amazing, fresh scent - Great for setting makeup - Great for a refresher IF you don't have very oily skin - Great to use as a mixing medium Cons: - Makes my oily skin feels worse towards the middle/end of the day - Expensive At the end of the day, I think a lot just depends on your skin type. I do like this product, I just don't know if I'll buy it again after I finish this bottle. ... show more

I got this for my mother and she absolutely loves it. It's smells really good and It makes even the cheap products look good or your face. This is really good at keeping the product or your face, she can put a full face on and wake up the next morning with minimal transfer or smudging.

Have used setting for many years and I absolutely love it. I spray it on my face prior to applying my foundation or even when I’m doing a light makeup application of just powder. As a primer it allows my foundation to go on smooth and then I spray on my face after as well to set my makeup and it really works in keeping my makeup from rubbing off on my hands if I happen to touch my face. I’m truly a MAC customer and love all the products I use. The Fix-It is often sold out at my local retailer, so when it was time to replenish I loved that I could get on Amazon.
