Took my first short ride with this helmet yesterday. I found it to be comfortable and appreciate the robust safety features, particularly on top of the head, where other helmets lack. The fit is snug, as it should be. I have a 7 1/4 hat size, oval head and small build. I got a large and it's perfect. I like the internal tinted lens and slide control in the left side. It did not interfere with my glasses. The chin strap is quick connect and you have to pull the padded sleeve back a little to press the lever. The outer lens is good, as well. I rode with the vents wide open and had moderate wind noise (may be less with vents dampened), but the speakers are easily able to overcome. The sound quality is good. I tried using Waze navigation and I could hear the turn by turn just fine. I haven't used the mesh yet, but noted that there is a YouTube with instructions on how to connect if the other rider(s) are using Sena Vs. Cardo. I would recommend this helmet to friends.

Just got my new LS2 Advant Modular with integrated Cardo. So this is my initial review, easy to insert pin lock shield and easy to swap shields . Build quality is very good, connection setup went smooth. Voice quality is good, just remember it do go one size up and if you do have chubby cheeks then highly recommended to go two sizes up. I will be testing it for internal noise and clarity of voice when riding in few days, then be able to update the rest. But over all it’s a nice helmet and we hope that we never have to test its safety. It’s a very good looking unit.

So thrilled with this purchase! I haven't ridden yet with the helmet but I have tested it out in many ways including the cardo. In the store this helmet costs the same without cardo! Even in helmets I've had with built in Bluetooth none of them were this loud. I believe no matter the speed I'll be able to hear well. The helmet also came with a dark visor that looks awesome, and a pin lock visor. It also came in a backpack which I wasn't expecting and is very cool. Awesome purchase!

Great helmet. I gave it four stars due to my trouble in finding the correct size. The seller was awesome though and sent me a larger helmet asap. In my opinion it runs extremely small especially around your cheeks. Or I just have really fat cheeks :) I thought an XL would be great and that did fit according to the fitment guide but I had to exchange it for an XXL and it's still rather snug. I decided to keep it anyway in hopes it might loosen up after breaking it in. The built in audio is great. Sound quality is good and battery life is awesome. I've had it on a couple 8 hour rides and it finishes the ride with 50% left on the battery. I use it mostly for music streaming with a mixture of radio thrown in here and there. The voice command system works well once you learn to say "Hey Cardo" before the command. Other AI assistants work well also. I've been doing a bit of cold weather riding and I've not been able to prevent the visor from fogging up. Maybe that's another notable addition.

Helmet was fine but one year later it has a Recall on it, we were informed to contact the company which we did, but haven’t heard anything back. We were informed they’d send a new replacement helmet, but no further contact has been made. Wondering if/when they will stand behind their product? It was good but UPDATE January 15/26: company has contacted us to clarify exactly which model and size of helmet is recalled, and we see the helmet we have is not one of these recalled after all. (…some unnecessary alarm sent out prematurely?…)

I have always liked LS2 helmets, they fit my head well. I have more of an oval shaped head and I find that a lot of motorcycle helmets have more of a circular shape which compresses my head from front to back and after a few hours gives me a massive headache, but that's not a problem with LS2 helmets. I also really appreciate the 180° rotating chin bar. It's awesome to basically be able to use your helmet as a 3/4 helmet without having the wind noise and drag of your visor sticking straight up over your head. As far as I know, LS2 is the only brand with this feature. The included sun visor is also a nice touch. I also appreciate the quick release buckle. The installed cardo intercom system works great. I use it all the time when I'm riding with others. It has a very good range, and if your partner goes out of range, it will automatically reconnect once they're back in range. It's also nice to be able to stream music and navigation instructions, and the sound quality is decent, as long as your expectations are realistic.. The radio function works okay. Although reception range is quite limited. The battery seems to last about 12 hours of solid use, I've never had it run completely dead on me in a single day, and I think it's smart that you can use the helmet while it's plugged in and charging. I have been very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a helmet. The biggest complaint I have about this helmet is that I wish it had more vents, although the only time I closed the chin bar is when I'm on the freeway so that's really not a problem. Also it is not easy to get eyeglasses on once you have this helmet on.
