    • Great quality, long assembly time. Kids LOVE it!
We installed this in March, 3 months ago, and it has been used almost daily since. Kids really love it. Smaller children (3 or so) can safely climb the tower and use the slide, though some kids are more cautious. The size seems appropriate for kids as old as 10-12., and we’ve had lots of kids about 8 years old on it and the size is great. The swings are a nice height and swing arc, much bigger than many cheaper alternatives which should let kids grow into this for quite awhile. I’m pleased with the quality, customer support, and expect this to last a long time. Assembly: be warned, this takes a LOT of time to assemble, I had 16-17 hours in it working alone, no adult help. I did have two small kids helping/learning which made a few areas more doable as you need a hand holding a wrench etc, but also slowed me down. But overall, very doable for a single adult. I would call myself very handy, this isn’t about being difficult, it’s just time consuming. Watch the videos, and follow the instructions and it is very DIY friendly. I assembled many of the large items in my garage first, including the main tower structure and then carried everything outside to position and finish it. This helped me time the weather. The roof is the most frustrating part if you have short arms and work alone. I also made a couple modifications in order to position side panels, slide, and ladder in positions that worked with my space. Again, very doable but be aware that railing, grab handles and general upper deck parts are specific to the orientation they intended, so you have to jockey around parts so holes line up and you can assemble as you wish, takes some forethought. There are some easy ways to do it (a few swaps without modifications), or you can drill a couple holes. I hope the quality holds up for many years because it is such a nice unit. I read all the reviews before purchasing this and nothing could prepare me for the frustration of building this thing. It was a much bigger project then I imagine from just a simple swing set. The video on YouTube is super helpful. What he does in 45 minutes will take you 45 hours, because what the video and directions don't show you is the difficulty of lining up the ridiculous bolts and screws they provide you. You will need 2 people for most of this project sometime 3 people if you are 5ft tall like myself. The two person requirement is more for lining things up most of the time. Like other have done I took a few bolts to the hardware store and bought a handful of the same type but a 1/4 -1/2 longer so that I could get them lined up. Don't let my review scare you. If you have another able body and time this is completely doable. If you do not have another person to help you I would pass. The Adventure tower once built is sturdy, well built ( because I built it) and nice material. we have had no rusting that others have mentioned. Our 5 year old twins use it daily. I think it's a Huge Project but has Huge pay off. Also be prepared to store 3 HUGE boxes. All the hardware and materials are clearly labeled. An impact drill and socket wrench will be your best friend. Like I state before, It's not really a complicated build, The bolts are just difficult to work with making it a harder project then necessary. ... show more

    • Great, sturdy playset
We ordered this playset for our grandkids and they love it! It's very sturdy, so adults can swing on it as well. We had 4 adults helping to assemble it and it took about 5 hours. I like that it's plastic as it's easily cleanable and no splinters, but the slide does get hot on sunny days. I would recommend positioning it so that the slide is in the shade in the afternoon if possible. I definitely recommend this playset. ... show more

The assembly isn't easy. You absolutely will need at least 2 people for some steps. I gave up and used standard bolts in a few places instead of the fasteners provided. But once assembled it's very sturdy. Mine actually got flipped by a pop up severe storm the day after i completed it. I hadn't positioned it where i wanted it and thus didn't have the anchors in yet. Flipped it back up and it was just fine. One downside is the packaging. The instructions just lay inside the top if the box so if you'ree box gets rained on at all like mine did they will be useless. A plastic sleeve for these would be handy. I used the Bilt app to construct mine and found it very helpful. Might have been a blessing the instructions were ruined. I did message customer support about getting replacement instructions but they never responded. ... show more

    • Harder to assemble than it should be
Putting this together we found that the screws used are 1/4" shorter than they should be. This makes it three times harder to get them into their holes. They fit, but just barely. We ended up buying screws that were that 1/4" longer and it became a reasonably easy job to finish it off. There were also two pipes that were not labeled but we figured out where they went through trial and error. The instructions are clear, on a par with Ikeas. The boxes arrived undamaged and we checked all the contents and found that everything was there. My granddaughters are 5 and 8 and will get many years of play out of this set. It really is a well thought out design and plenty big enough for growing kids to play with until they are 12 or so. The set is sturdy and sits firmly on the ground. With both girls swinging on it, there is no movement from the whole unit and the feet stay in place. The cost was a little over our budget but we think the quality of this set is worth it. Altogether we are pleased with this purchase, even with the inconvenience of the short screws. ... show more

She loves it!! Very sturdy! The only thing I didn’t like with the toddler was the open areas at the top so I bought some netting and we zip tied it around except for the slide just as a safety measure until she’s older

    • Expensive but worth it
Bought this for my son. It was worth the money. A little hard to put together, but we got it and it’s been holding up for almost a year now. Definitely worth buying!
