I love the look and quality of the SL infinity fans. I had to replace the two 140mm fans on my Lian Li CPU AIO cooler due to bearing failure and went with these to match 3 other SL fans in my case. I love how they connect without a cable to each other but wish they had a better cable to plug into the SL controller. Luckily I had a cable that worked that came with the controller. The customization and the looks of these fans are really amazing.

I saw these in a post about a new build and just had to have them in my next build. I added 10 fans total, including the ones that came with my Galahad II AIO. They aren't cheap by any means but they operate perfectly. Simple to daisy chain together and hook up to the controller (included with the AIO) and the RGB is super easy to control via the L-Connect 3 software. The color shift is smooth, and the infinity mirror design is sleek. My only complaint is that when you daisy chain three fans together and install them in a case that doesn't have adjustable mounting holes, you cannot put a screw in every hole as they won't line up across all three. The bottom of my case is like this, but the vertical side mount has adjustable holes so it wasn't a problem there. That is more an issue with the case I suppose but just be aware that if you want these fans, make sure the area you are mounting them in has adjustable holes for the fan screws.

I love these 140mm fans, the infinity effect on them is an awesome touch to any build. I was really surprised at how quiet the fans are at all times while maintaining excellent airflow and performance. I'm using a HAVN HS 420 Case, 5090 Founder Edition GPU, and 9950x3D AMD CPU in this build and idle temps sit around 40c and 35c respectively with max pushes to 65c and 70c under heavy load, all in a fairly warm environment. Fair note to anyone buying the 140mm here, you'll likely want a controller and since that isn't included in the single packs, you'll need to buy it separately, but you can find a 120mm controller for the UNI SL-Infinity and it'll work perfectly for the 140mm versions. That said, functionality and connectivity of the fans were perfect off the start and were really just plug and go. Brightness is also great, but while on that note, for anyone looking for a white color on the rgb, these fans will not give you a pure bright white effect, if set to a traditional white on your software such as #ffffff, they will show up bluish, though using a red tint can bring you closer to a white, it will still be dimmer.

There is really only 2 good options when looking for a good looking fan that connects easy. You have Lian li or Corsair. The Lian li system is much better imo. The fans are quite and push out a fair amount of air. They look great and are affordable. Everything functions easily and the software is great. Lian li is also partnered with signal rgb. So you can use the software And have signal control the lights.

Great fan,bought it for a lian li lancool 207 digital case.Please note if your buying it to replace the bottom fan in your 207 digital case you'll need to modify your installation as it will not fit due to the wires blocking installation.Youll need to loosen up the wires for your top fan slide it down to the bottom of the fan position then install it as the 207 digital case has a notch cut out at the top of the case (the metal mounting slot) then it will fit without issue.That was the easiest least annoying method for me.

Given the number of cases that now have requirements for visible side intake fans, the 120 mm infinity fans with reverse blades are a must if you want to use Lian Li infinity mirror fans and keep a consistent look within your case. I also got these since I wanted to fit 3 120 mm fans on the side of a Hyte Y60 case, and these are low profile enough to fit since you can interconnect 3 of them and use a 120 mm mod kit to install all 3. One clarification in the Amazon/Lian Li description of the product: "Compatible with Lian Li SL-INFINITY 120 3 Pack only" as that made me purchase the 3 pack of SL-INF fans too, which I now have to return. I was also installing the Lian Li GA II Trinity SL-INF 360 AIO cooler, and that comes with a Lian Li controller that is compatible with the reverse blade fans too, I guess because it includes the 3 pack of SL-INF fans. Minor detail, but I suspect there are other Lian Li kits that may come with a compatible controller as well.

Building a new rig, I thought I'd go with the 140s...If you opt for the wireless edition, you can disregard this review. But if you are going wired with these SL-Infinities, know this. The included cables will not work with the controller box. You need to buy the controller box separate and you'll get 4 of the correct wires. These do 100% work with the 140s as I just put 11 of them in my new build. Keep in mind the controller box has 4 ports...Each can support up to 4 fans...and you'll also get a splitter. I really hope this helps alleviate some frustration like I experienced with this build. Lian Li could have made a better decision here and stuck with the three-pack model and include a controller. The motherboard direct cables should be an 'option'...Yes you could connect to the motherboard if you have enough ports and use the motherboard software to control them but that's really not the way I wanted to go. Best of luck! For the controller I bought...search for this: "Lian Li UNI Fan SL Infinity SL-INF 120 RGB L-Connect 3 Fan Controller Kits (Black)"
