  • You've Got to Read "May the Circle Be Unbroken - New Expanded Edition."
Format: Paperback
Spring, 2025 -- This is a book that every Black person in America should read. Dr. Ani included the most ELOQUENT tribute to our African Ancestors who were forcefully human trafficked, kidnapped from their homes and brought to North America, South America and the islands in between to work for free and until they died. You feel what she says in these 40 pages of gratitude. It took three reads before I could move on to the main part of the book... I can compare this section to Dr. Daniel Omotosho Black's book "The Coming," where he spoke through those suffering, kidnapped Africans on the ship. However, to answer the question -- how was it? It was FIRE. It was a BLUEPRINT FOR BLACKNESS. I'm finally near the end and will have to read it again immediately. We are blessed to have an author with such authority, and I look forward to finishing her other book, "Yurugu." God bless you, Dr. Ani. ... show more

  • Travel Book, Bedtime Story.
Format: Paperback
I cannot get enough reading this book. I often read this before I go to bed. It helps me to remember why I am here and the great journey my people have traveled. This book gives deep reflection into African thought. By far a book, I travel with and keep close to me at all times.
