Style: Siphon Ceramic Function

Features

  • OPERATING SPECS: Requires minimum 4 CFM at 90 PSI for continuous operation. Maximum pressure 150 PSI. Fitted with standard 1/4" NPT connector. Designed for automotive rust removal, glass etching, and surface preparation.
  • COMPRESSOR REQUIREMENTS: Not for pancake compressors under 6 gallons. Continuous sandblasting requires high air volume, not just pressure. Using small 1-3 gallon compressors will result in sputtering and low performance.
  • 2-IN-1 FEED MODES: Features Gravity Feed for small, quick detail work and Siphon Feed for larger, flat surface projects. Includes 7 - foot siphon hose. Note: Siphon mode requires maximum air flow (CFM) to generate vacuum lift; ensure your compressor meets the 4 CFM requirement.
  • PREVENT CLOGGING & MOISTURE: Wet air clumps media. You must use an inline air line filter/water trap to keep air dry. Use only clean, dry abrasive media (Aluminum Oxide, Glass Beads, Silicon Carbide, etc.) between 46-100 grit.
  • LE LEMATEC DURABILITY: Tools designed to solve real problems. Features a hardened ceramic nozzle (superior to plastic) Fully serviceable design for professional and high-demand DIY environments.

  • Works great
Style: Ceramic Nozzle Blue
Great little unit for the price. Used it to clean a few small parts on a car restoration that were proving difficult to sand by hand before paint. Have used it on a verity of different parts now mostly because it’s way more convenient and quicker to use this rather then trying to sand them by hand. I’m sure it would work fine on a larger scale job but would obviously take a long time. It’s perfect for the smaller jobs. Update! I just rd painted the front doors to my house that have some complicated trim pieces all over it. Sanding the flat surfaces by hand is obviously easy but I did not want to spend hours getting into the nooks and crannies sanding by hand. Used this to do it instead. A few hours job turned into the whole door being ready in about 30 minutes. ... show more

  • Convenient device for small projects
Style: Ceramic Nozzle Blue
After receiving a used/non-working unit the company was very responsive and shipped a functional replacement immediately—this was great. Product works as advertised, is very light and comfortable to use, and replacing nozzles is easy. I’d recommend taping and using a quick-release adapter on the inlet—not clear how well the threads will hold up (they were stripped bare on the first used unit). Lots of people commented that it chews through blaster medium, but it seemed like typical usage to me compared to a dedicated sand blaster  For anything but small projects you’ll be filling it a lot, which may be a blocker depending on your usage—but when you don’t want to pull around a dedicated unit or set up a siphon unit it’s super-convenient. ... show more

  • Way better than expected with pancake compressor
Style: Ceramic Nozzle Blue
This thing is way better than expected. I ran play sand like you shouldn’t and ran it off a small pancake compressor. Also like you shouldn’t. I sifted the sand with a window screen and it worked great. Had to stop a few times here and there for the compressor to build back up but it works great. Way better than the cabinet blaster I use at work. This seems to be more consistent with the delivery. ... show more

  • convenient way to sandblast without blast cabinet
Style: Ceramic Nozzle Blue
I got this sandblaster for my husband, as he rehabs vintage motorcycles and does a lot of other things, for which he often uses a blast cabinet, which usually requires some setup. He liked the ease of setting this handheld unit up; this sandblaster is not too heavy to hold in the hand, but also is sturdy and rugged enough to do the heavy job it's required to do. And he liked how much easier it would be to do small jobs and things that can't be put into the blast cabinet. He found, though, right off, that the coupler that comes with the kit is too large for what is normally used to hook it up to the compressor that he uses (1/2 horse, 100 psi compressor); he had to use one of his own couplers (see photos). These were some of his observations: "In my experimenting with this unit, I used aluminum oxide grit to remove rust and old paint off of old stove parts (see photo). It required 2-1/2 tank fillings to clean one square foot of flat steel surface. For large jobs, repeated fillings is a problem; plus effectiveness of blast drops off at about 60psi, which happens quite soon if using a 1/2 horse, 100 psi compressor. My larger shop compressor at 150 psi worked perfectly. Constant shaking of the unit to maintain flow can be annoying, and finding the sweet trigger spot to allow blasting and not just air is an issue that goes with the shaking. It can be used in a cabinet, but then the constant refilling becomes annoyingly inconvenient, a situation that does not occur with a cabinet because grit is automatically recycled. In conclusion, I found the unit works well for impromptu small jobs where set up is time consuming. I would recommend that the tank be redesigned to allow better gravity feeding of the grit." ... show more

  • Good product at great price for small jobs
Style: Siphon Ceramic Function
I needed a soda blaster for small jobs/projects. There are several ways to go for this but I am glad I tried this one. The product does very well with running soda and has a built in trigger with a container for the material being sprayed. It runs well with my compressor at their suggested PSI setting. A giant plus for them is their customer support. I had some questions before purchase and they answered within one business day or less which is remarkable these days. Not just for items made overseas but anywhere. Just don't be fooled into thinking you are going to use this to blast a truck frame or any big jobs. It does a good job on small jobs and that is what it is for. ... show more
