Overall this is a good laminator. Seems very sturdy, effective, and easy to operate overall. Noise level is low and quiet, though a beeping sound, or louder beeping sound of some sort, would be helpful to notify those waiting, when the laminator is heated up and ready to use. Partly why this was given a 4-star rating is due to the slow heat-up time. Our previous laminator, which seemed overall more cheaply made, only took about 1 minute and 30 seconds, whereas this laminator, being much newer and seemingly better built, takes up to 5 minutes to heat. ... show more

I purchased this laminator based on the reviews and the description. I have 2 other laminators and I needed a third. I laminate a lot of flyers. The quality of this laminator is excellent. It came with 11.5” x 9.25” laminating pouches and some 6.5” x 4.5” pouches along with some card stock picture frames, rings and a hole puncher. When they say that this laminates smoothly and there will be NO bubbles, it is very true. The laminating pouch goes in smoothly and comes out in perfect condition. The heat option is not too hot (not the case with my other 2 laminators). This one has the perfect amount of heat. The pouches it came with, already have rounded corners. The cutter on the top of the laminator works great. The one thing that I will say is that this one laminates a tiny bit slower than my other 2 but I believe that’s the reason why there are never any bubbles or mishaps. And when I say ‘a tiny bit,’ I mean to most people, it would probably not be noticeable at all or make a difference. With my other 2, I do get bubbles often if I’m not careful on how I put the pouch through. I’m extremely happy with this laminator and highly recommend it. For me, the quality and the perfect outcome of the laminated sheets is was extremely important and this laminator delivers! I will probably purchase another one. ... show more

    • Worked for a handful of uses.. then quit working

At first, this laminator was incredible and blew all the ones I’ve had in the past out of the water! I purchased in July, used it twice, then used it a handful of times since September 2nd. Today, September 16, I have no heat. I’ve tried turning the machine off, back on again, and waiting for enough time for it to sufficiently warm… no luck. I’ve completely unplugged it; switched it to cold and back to hot again.. neither have worked. I am frustrated that I spent a decent amount of money on this one and it quit on me so quickly. Edit to add- seller has NOT reached out and this laminator still does not heat. Removing a star for very poor customer service. Not even looking for a refund or new machine- maybe just a little troubleshooting or a part even so it can be fixed. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Very easy to use, great for my business papers as well as sentimental items we want to keep for the children and our Grandson. Very good quality and I like that it doesn’t take up a lot of space. It is wrinkle resistant so everything comes out looking smooth and great.
