This is a review of the clear gold earrings. You don’t have to be a jewelry expert to know that if a piece has a good-looking design and brand name, it’ll probably appeal well to the person who will wear it. These “So Spade Studs” fit that bill. It has an attractive design, and the build quality appears promising; the “gems” are sparkly and packed in well-finished gold-framed spades. These earrings have a nice, heavy feel to them. I love the green color. I’ve never had such a substantial back to fasten the earrings. The backs are heart shaped, very unique (maybe that’s normal for Kate Spade?). I wore them all day and they did not bother my ears. I ordered the "clear/gold" color earrings and they're absolutely gorgeous! They came wrapped in bubble wrap and with a little dust bag. I have quite a few Kate Spade purses, wallets, and a pair of sunglasses but this is my first pair of earrings. They did not disappoint! The silver is bright and the glass is nice and clear. The backs of the earrings are larger than most, which makes them easy to grasp and put on the post.
