When I received the KAMRUI AM21 it was packaged nicely, and the setup instructions were easy to follow. It took about 30 minutes to set up and run all the Windows updates. The pc runs quiet and cool while running multiple applications with ease. I like that I can mount it to the back of my portable monitor for easy transport when needed. It is also a space saver. I have used it for streaming, school and work and some programing and have had no problems. It has enough ports for my hardware and then some. I feel I got a great PC for the price. It works. Performance is snappy. No complaints. Would say more, but it was on sale ($500) & this is a replacement for a 10-year-old mini-tower computer and this is lightyears ahead. I like that it's so quiet & small. 12cm x 12cm x 5cm. Windows 11 is easy to setup, so had it working quickly.

The media could not be loaded. Brand new out of the box won't turn on and stay on. Turns itself off within seconds. And of course customer support is unavailable except 8-5 Monday through Friday. So I got this on a Friday and now can't talk to anyone about what's wrong with it until Monday? I don't think so. Returning immediately. Find another manufacturer, unless you want a very expensive paperweight. Port capacity? Would be great if it turned on. Value? Probably good, if it stayed on for more than a few seconds. Compatibility? I have no way to assess, because it turns off after a few seconds. Noise level? Well, it doesn't turn on, so I guess it's very quiet. Compactness? Yeah, it's a small expensive paperweight, so good job! It is impossible to overstate the extent to which this company has failed in this device. If they had sent a box full of excrement, at the very least that might have had some value as fertilizer. This computer is worse than a box full of excrement. Imagine selling a product at this price and it being worse than a box full of excrement. Imagine selling this product and looking at yourself in the mirror and thinking "I'm not a plague on the human species. I've done a good thing. I'll keep doing what I'm doing, making terrible defective products that sell for hundreds of dollars." I attached a video of the computer turning itself off after a few seconds. I'm returning it and praying that whatever god or gods the seller and manufacturer believe in may have mercy on their souls. ... show more

***REVIEW FOR KAMRUI AM21 -- please note which model is being reviewed as the review section contains reviews for multiple products.*** With the 10% discount, I grabbed this 32gb 1tb model at a nice price. Teardown was easy. I replaced the thermal paste, installed Bazzite for Steam gaming, and saved the Windows 11 key just in case. No issues running Steam so far in deck or desktop mode. I wish it had a second fan, the current single fan exhausts upward through the upper side-grilles but could use more active ventilation, but it's such a compact model. No Oculink port but I didn't need one. I am replacing the wifi/bluetooth card -- the current one disconnects enough to be annoying. This PC is being used exclusively as a mini Steam PC. Makes less noise than my GMKTec K8 plus. Update 12/24/2025: the wifi connection cuts in and out on occasion and so I'm replacing the M.2 wifi/bt card with an AX210. Update: 12/30/2025: installed an AX210 wifi/bt card. I previously forgot to mention that setting the front power button to the correct position for re-assembly can be tricky. If you don't the power button goes off-center with respect to the internal switch. For reassembly, make sure the case power button is all the way out (push the inside toward the case shell so the exterior button is seated as far up as possible). Pull the front case panel away, giving a little extra room for the button to seat correctly, then snap the two halves shut. ... show more

This was my second Kamrui mini. After resolution of a few problems that turned out to be Windows issues and were fixed with a reinstall of the system it works great. I bought a standalone 27" curved display and now have a powerhouse All-In-One for half the price that I would have had to pay for a packaged all-in-one. The beauty of the Kamru is that it also serves as my portable, all I need is a TV as a display and I don't need a laptop anymore. Great concept. Set up is easy with a wired mouse and the on screen keyboard. This KAMRUI AM21 Mini PC, DAMD Ryzen 7 8745HS 32GB DDR5 5600MHz is FAST. I ordered two other popular brand mini PCs and they had to be returned for failures in quality control at all levels. I strongly recommend this brand if you do not want headaches.
