The assembly was easy and only took about 35 minutes to complete. The instructions are generally clear, but the screw labels were a bit tricky to follow. I ended up using some screws in spots where they weren’t supposed to go, but I managed to figure it out. I highly recommend having someone help during the first part of assembly, as it’s useful to have an extra set of hands to hold the other end of the frame. That said, it’s still possible to assemble the bed on your own. I strongly suggest having a Torx screwdriver (size 30) available for the job. Fortunately, I had one, which made assembly much quicker. If you also have a Torx 30 bit for your power drill, it will definitely speed up the process. I did end up missing a couple of bolts when tightening the last set of screws, but it was manageable. I’m not sure if I misplaced them or if the package was missing a bolt. Overall, I’m pleasantly surprised at how sturdy the bed frame is. However, I wouldn’t recommend letting kids jump on it, though I haven’t tested that out myself yet. ... show more

It came in a small heavy box which worried me at first. It was easy to put together, came with all the tools, easy to understand directions. It is very sturdy, just wish the center slats would snap into place, they always fall out when changing the sheets. Overall good buy.
