I was apprehensive to purchase a piece of furniture on Amazon, but this is exactly what I was looking for. I have it in my bathroom since the old floor to ceiling cabinets were removed. This serves as my linen closet and I feel confident with the ability of it to hold up in a humid environment.

    • Very disappointed.
This product is not worth the cost. The wood was warped from the box, the barrel bolts that holds the door shut are 1/2" off. The wood was so warped the shelf would not stay in place, kept falling out. Luckily I had cabinet screws and tools and could fix most of this so I didn't have to send all this back.     • This is a 2 person job and prepare to get some better hardware
Got this cabinet to use out on a protected outdoor back porch. Pros: The wood appears to be high quality and the paint/finish looks durable and well done. Cons: The wood hinge screws are poor quality, 3 heads sheared off while trying to put on the first door. My fix was to go to my local hardware store and buy #8 1" phillips head flat screws. Then with a 1/8 bit, I drilled the hinge holes about a 1/4" deeper. This allowed me to hang the doors. Then I discovered the latch pin did not line up with the latch hole. I ended up removing the latch striker plate, putting colored nail polish on the latch pin, and then found that the latch hole was more than 1/8" off where the pin was striking. With a 3/8" drill bit I made the hole large to allow the latch pin to work. I ended up not reattaching the strike plate since it didn't align properly with the enlarged hole. What should have been a 1 hour task ended up being several hours and a trip to the hardware store. ... show more

The cabinet doors don’t align perfectly and you’ll need to tinker to get a good fit. I took out top latch and got a magnet as reaching in to unlatch is a pain. I am keeping latch on bottom to deter grandkids a bit. Get a good Allen wrench tool or you’ll regret it. Manuel Allen wrench provided stripped easy and hurt to use. The straight attachment for drill insert is great idea but it to strips easy and is tough to use given some angles. The nubs for adjustable shelves are a little sketch and one shelf slipped after I loaded it up with cans, so, I used Gorilla glue and now that shelf level is permanent. I’d need to buy more nubs to move it. No biggie, that’s $2 if I ever make that decision. In general, easy to assemble if it’s not the first thing you’ve assembled and have a good magnetic screw driver set. Very nice looking. Does look a bit more expensive than it is, so good aesthetic and pocket book value. ... show more
