Kids love the game. A couple of minor drawbacks, first the goal area where the puck goes in gets hung up and secondly, the game needs to be played on a hard surface since a rug will not work.

It's just the right size for our game room. My son has already "hosted' some tournaments. Very easy to assemble! The only issue I had was one of the table supports underneath was cracked on arrival-probably during shipping(?) It was easy enough to glue it and clamp it overnight, just a small inconvenience.     • You get what you pay for - disappointing...

First off, I guess due to the size, this item takes a couple extra days to be delivered. Not a big problem, as you're told this up front. There is no picture on the outside of the plain cardboard box, so if you're ordering for a present, the recipient will have no idea what's inside (young kids) - save for the words "Air Hockey Table" on the front (fine for adults). Made this mistake for my son's (5yo) birthday. He tore the paper off and stared at the brown box, having no idea what it was. Had to open and show him before he got excited about it. PROS: Table is packaged very well - within a box inside an outer box. There are pieces of wood at the ends to ensure the corners don't get mangled. My table arrived in perfect condition. The looks very nice and with only 4 screws to put in the goals, it was up and ready in no time. This is a plug-in model, so you don't have to worry about batteries (this is also a CON as you need to set up near an outlet, not exactly "portable"). And that's where the fantasy ended... CONS: While it is a nice looking table, and a perfect size for smaller kids (again, my 5yo), functionally, it's HORRIBLE. The fan is not nearly powerful enough to reach the entire table to keep the puck afloat - and is quite loud. A small ring around the center of the table is all you get for real "air" hockey playability. The center of the table, and outside of this small "ring" of air, there's nothing - the puck scrapes on the table surface. Dead zones are, therefore, most of the ends of the table, the corners, and the precise middle (the "faceoff" area). Underneath the table, it's obvious why... There is nothing more than a 92mm computer fan providing the air. While this is fine for keeping your PC cool, it's not nearly powerful enough to drive an air hockey table. CONCLUSION: While my son gets a kick out of it (for the time being), I am sorely disappointed. Again, buyer beware - you get what you pay for. Save your money on this model and get something a little more expensive to provide a much better experience. (Maybe I'm just jaded. About 40+ years ago, when I was a kid, I had a nice table. The puck was actionable all over the table - never hit the table surface. I had hours of fun on that unit. Astounding to see how far air hockey games have *fallen* in quality since then...) ... show more

Once assembled, this is a nice looking air hockey table that works ok and seems pretty solid. However, assembly was hard because the screw holes were misaligned and the preassembled parts were not square. I thought for sure I was going to break one of the table legs trying to make it fit. We have to be careful which side of the pucks we use because one side isn't smooth and doesn't glide very well. There are also some small "dead spots"on the table that may be from the holes not being completely drilled. And the legs are apparently supposed to come with pads, but only one of mine did. However, it looks good assembled, seems solid enough, and works well enough that my kids and I have a good time with it. ... show more

This is a huge hit with my kids! It's small and doesn't blow much air, but my kids play at arcades too and have not complained that this one is less powerful. This was a Christmas gift for my seven year old, and it made for the most exciting, memorable Christmas morning. He was thrilled with it. It is too small for teens though. ... show more
