    • Great shape ball for toddlers
This toy is used almost every time our grandson comes over to play. We bought this for him when he was 2 so he could practice putting the proper pieces into the right shape holes. He’s 3 now and can put all the shapes into the ball with ease. It’s great for teaching shapes and colors (creamy orange, purple, yellow, and blue—2 of each shape and color) and is a “green toy” made from recycled plastics, so that’s a plus, too. Depending on the age of the child, they may need help for a while as they learn. This toy also helps develop and strengthen fine motor skills and manual dexterity. The pieces are smooth and colorful and large enough to be safe for toddlers. I did rate it a 4 because sometimes the ball that holds the pieces is too shallow in places, not giving enough room to hold all the pieces as they are placed into the correct shape holes, so you have to shake the ball to move the pieces inside so you can get the rest of the pieces into the slots without a problem. Also, most toddlers can’t unscrew and/or screw the 2 pieces that come together to make the sphere that holds the shapes. Other than that, this is a great shape ball for toddlers. ... show more

A gift to my grandson. He enjoys it very much! It's compact which is nice considering all the toys we have laying all over the place. He's getting the hang of it and it's a good investment in his motor skills!
