    • Unstable system and random loud playback
I purchased this Google speaker in November 2025 and unfortunately have been experiencing ongoing issues with the system. The biggest problem is that the device turns on by itself unexpectedly, often late at night. Even after I manually turn it off, it will power back on automatically, and the volume resets to maximum. This has been very disruptive, especially since I keep the speaker in my spa office. The loud sudden playback has caused repeated complaints from the building management and neighboring offices. The sound quality itself is acceptable when it works, but the device stability is poor. I’ve also found the setup and internet connection process to be unnecessarily difficult. Some additional drawbacks: Remote control only works when your phone is on the same Wi-Fi network Does not support 5 GHz Wi-Fi reliably Limited smart/AI functionality YouTube Music playback is inconsistent and often does not follow saved playlists properly Bluetooth connection with phones is unreliable Because the issues became too disruptive, I had to purchase a different speaker for my business. Unfortunately, I am now past the return window, which is very disappointing. I recommend considering a newer and more stable model instead of this one. ... show more

    • Good Speaker but difficult to change the speakers pre set language.
Well, it is difficult to change the speakers pre set language. Mine came with Spanish as default even the manual was in Spanish. I can't tell you how long I fought with it to get hot to change more exactly what made it change. But after several unplug replugging and switching the mic on and off combined with trying to find something in the settings it suddenly switched to English! This was frustrating for my blind friend for whom this was a gift. I was called over the next day to help. Just saying there should be an easier way to change the speakers language not just what language it is programmed to hear. Which it did fine understanding English and then replying in Spanish. A Spanish speaking friend tried to help but it didn't give spoken instructions on how to change the setting either! How many resources does one need to do this simple and necessary operation! ... show more
