It's fun and customizable, but there are so many ways to play it can be confusing, especially if you play the versions with the cards. The ladders are fun to make and they fit back in the box perfectly

My kids were excited to see this game actually exists, like in the show. Very nice quality game. Thick cardboard pieces. There are many options to play the game, so you can modify it to what your family likes. It’s a funny game. My kids had a lot of fun and it had us adults even joining in. There are different mini games as well. I recommend to any SpongeBob loving, board game playing family. It’s a fun time. I was a little uneasy at first, with the cost. Eels and Escalators was introduced in the SpongeBob SquarePants episode "Sailor Mouth", as a parody of the popular real-life board game, "Snakes and Ladders". Some people call Snakes and Ladders "Chutes and Ladders", but it's pretty much the same thing. Anyway, have fun, and please don't utter Bad Word #11 (or any other word included in Mr. Krabs' List of 13 Bad Words You Should Never Use).
