I purchased these for my Paris Themed kitchen and they are the cutest! I don't use them for salt and pepper, so I won't comment on their effectiveness in that regard, However, I will state that they are really small and thin so I can't imagine that they'll hold much salt or pepper. These salt and pepper shakers are just what I needed for my sister-in-law for her theme in her dining room. They have some weight to them and look nice. I would have to say that they will not hold much, but they are primarily for decoration. Nice gift for the Paris lover.

These are absolutely beautiful! I ordered these for a friend's birthday. She loved them. They are much heavier than expected. Obviously she is using them for decoration only, but great quality. Not cheaply made at all.
