I was so anti G-shock for so long because I'd see people flaunting them as if they were expensive, extravagant time pieces and I'd think it's just a Casio....It so happened that the week after I swore I'd never buy one, I needed a watch for work and I got on Amazon to look through watches with digital displays specifically for military time. While scrolling through, I saw a bunch of cheap watches that, yeah were digital watches but they didn't speak to my taste. Then I spotted this beauty! It's rugged! Really feels like nothing can damage this thing! It's beautiful, comfortable, and functional! Pretty easy to learn and has SO many features! My only issues with it, are that I didn't know it was gloss black, I would have preferred flat, and the lighting could be a little better. Other than that it's perfect! ... show more

This watch is a fantastic piece, and I've received a lot of compliments when wearing it. Many people have also asked me about its model. It does fit large on the wrist, but it still maintains its functionality. The G-Shock watch is very durable.

    • The best watch for the money if you use you are going to come into contact with tools, impacts or water.
Stylish yet rugged. I use mine for traveling for work. A little hard to read due to a lack of contrast due to all of the gold features. Bought one for a nephew and he wore his throughout an oversees Vietnam trip building houses for needy. Love G-Shock watches! Have owned them for years. I am constantly getting compliments from my fellow passengers on this watch when I fly whether it be coach or first class! Also passes through the metal detector without having to take it off. I purchased this on october 14 2011 @ 144 on amazon. This watch is epic, its flashy but not over the top douchey, I've gotten more compliments than I can recall, its badd ass, shiny and gold- what more does one want? functionality wise in the dark or at night its hard to see since the illumination was done so stupidly but honestly, this watch is that great that even a major con like that still makes this watch great. if the price hasn't risen since i first bought it I would definitely buy a second to use when the first one breaks down eventually ... show more
