It works for my purpose and it didn’t cost very much so I’m basically satisfied. My kid assembled it for me so it wasn’t difficult to put together. If this is something that is going to get a lot of use though, you might was to find something more sturdy.

    • Hardware Doesn't Secure Table Pieces; Worthless Purchase
If I could give this 0 stars, I probably would. I bought this table because I was looking for a cheap end table to place my coffee or drink on while I'm working at my computer desk (I wanted something separate so it wouldn't be near the equipment on my desk). I knew going in that the table would probably feel cheap in terms of quality, but I didn't need something super expensive. The instructions were really easy to follow, but as I started assembling the table, I ran into tons of problems. The biggest one is that the large/long screws that come with the table ARE NOT LONG ENOUGH to secure the smaller oval panel in the middle of the unit. They just barely poke out of the holes at the other end, so tightening the screws does almost nothing. Additionally, the top part of the table is supposed to secure into the base with little dowel rods. However, this was not the case. The legs won't secure in, not even when I tried to hammer them down. When I tried to put any pressure on the top in order to force the dowel rods into the holes, one of the legs would pop out and the entire table would collapse. I finally thought i had secured the table together, only to set something on top of it - a book - at the wrong angle. The table tipped a little bit, one of the legs popped out and, again, the table collapsed in on itself. I already contacted the manufacturer to ask for new hardware, as that's the biggest problem with this table. If the hardware functioned to secure the table like it was supposed to, I'd have no problem with this table. Additionally, one of the legs came damaged with part of the paint stripped off. ... show more

So packaged arrived right away with Prime. The instructions were quite comprehensive. So it was not hard to group the components and get to work. However the holes were not deep enough for the connections on the overall piece. I nearly bore a hole through the table top to ensure the leg was properly secure. Yet I think that the likelihood of putting that hole in would depend on where I started pushing the legs in first. But it also could have been the holes being too small/dowels too large for holes. Clearly I needed this table to get organized. I use it as a night table for personal care items as you can see. So for the price it was a pretty decent buy and I plan to get another even though I had slight problems. But the height and diameter is perfect. With it being put together and my many things on it, I say it is far sturdier than I thought it would be. It did seem rickety at first, but once you push and glue everything together it is not going anywhere. Also gotta say Furino has come a long way. The value depends on the pieces you select to match your need. Some of the stuff in their line can be a little disappointing. But most pieces do the job, and look good for the price. These are ideal for the price point but are a little flimsy for anything other than a table side lamp. Unordered two, for my teens room (he’s 13) and he was able to build them on his own, so super easy to build, but they aren’t like heavy duty and solid, which is fine, because I wasn’t looking for anything heavy and solid... so keep that in mind if you’re looking for that. These are nice and simple, easy to build, accent pieces for desk lamps, perfect for a teen or even a dorm or efficiency. ... show more

    • Extremely Cheap Materials
It does the job but the table itself is very fragile, I broke the wood in 3 different spots just putting it together, so be mindful not to put too much pressure on the wood. Otherwise it’s great for the price.

I was looking for a round table to replace a glass one that got broken, but I was unable to find one at a low enough price. I saw this oval one and it has the same finish as the end tables I have so I thought lets try it since the price was so low. I needed it to fit in a small space, so that made this one ideal. It is just mainly for decoration in between 2 unused chairs in my living room, so I didn't need a table to really hold anything too heavy. It is a press board table with veneer, so you can't really expect much, but it looks much better than the round one I had, so that's all that mattered to me. For under $25 dollars, I really couldn't ask for more. If you want a real wood table that will withstand kids or dogs or a lot of wear, then this is not a table you should buy. If it's just a small occasional table, then give it a try. I'm happy I did. ... show more
