  • I have several and I am amazed by how much I love these things!
I have had the full MFT/3 for several years and I love it. I have also added several tops to my collection that I can prop up on saw horses. After a few years I finally added another MFT to my shop and I do not know how I ever got along without it. Everything, to my surprise, arrived in great condition and I could not be happier! ... show more

Great bench. If you already have a MFT and don't need the rail and protractor, this model will save you about $100.

  • Toooooo much money. Wow…
This table isn’t better than harbor freight. Just maybe aesthetically

  • I really like the table but the leg supports are cheaply made
I really like the table but the leg supports are cheaply made, metal tubes kept becoming disconnected from plastic connection parts. Would be a great table if left in the shop or if they improved the parts that connect the cross members to the legs. I move mine around a lot and it doesn't help. So I removed them because they kept falling apart, now my table jiggles. ... show more

  • Unstable and the rail hinge crosscut accessories, if you buy them, are stamped steel garbage.
Festool makes great power tools and I own many of them. I began buying them for my work as a finish carpenter and cabinet maker in 2007. The track saw is a force multiplier in so many ways and I'd be lost without their drills, sanders, and vacs. The MFT/3, though, is clearly an afterthought for them. Many Festool fans contort themselves making excuses for it and there's a thriving subculture in forums, where owners endlessly rehash proposals about how users can get the accessories set up to allow cut straight, square cuts. The company's well-known American spokesman actually demonstrated using Post-It notes as a means of calibrating the parts. The table itself is an odd size that has nothing to do with typical sheet goods processing, is unbalanced and hard to carry, and the legs are maddeningly flexible, so the whole thing swims around under you as you try to work. I'm going to save a few dollars, sell this, and buy into the Dash-Board system. I wish I'd found out about them sooner. ... show more
