The gaskets are great, high quality and fit perfect. Amazon delivery screwed this order. I ordered the gasket set on Tues 21 Oct and it had an expected delivery day of Thurs 23 Oct. It was shipped from Texas going to Michigan. It went to Kentucky then got lost going to Connecticut. Fri 24 Oct, the day after it should have been delivered Amazon handed it off to UPS and it was finally delivered on Tues 28 Oct. It was 5 days late. I should have ordered it from Rock Auto for $6.00 less.

Avoid this set like the plague! Fel-Pro redesigned the gasket to be "new and improved." The old gasket was a single piece of metal/rubber, which made it easy to properly sandwich the lower intake onto the block. I installed one like that 10 years ago and it sealed perfectly all that time. The new and improved design consists of two metal/rubber pieces for the head to lower intake mating. The lower intake to block mating is sealed with nothing more than a dab of RTV, which is included with the set. Sounds great! Except...how are you supposed to correctly position the lower intake manifold onto the RTV while keeping the two intake to head-gaskets from moving around? It's extremely difficult, but you won't find out if you managed to dance the ballet correctly or not until a few hundred miles in. Apparently I did not, because 600 miles after installation the RTV area seal began leaking massively. Do yourself a favor. Unless you like working on cars so much that you'd enjoy reinstalling $100 gaskets every month, get the OLD single piece gasket design, which is part number MS95739.

I needed an intake manifold set for a Ford 4 liter v6 engine (not the most popular engine in the world), so I did a web search to find the best price. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Amazon had it, and at a price that was much better than anyone else's. On top of that, there was a 20% discount for orders over $100, so I just added a couple of other items to get it. I'm amazed at the savings; it was like about half the retail price! As for the product itself, Fel-Pro is the industry leader in gaskets, so it's hard to go wrong getting anything from them. This package contains everything you need to replace the intake manifold gaskets, for a couple different variations on the engine. This includes gaskets for the valve covers, the two gaskets (or O-ring sets) that go between the upper and lower plenums that sandwich the fuel rail, and of course, the intake manifold gaskets themselves. They've wisely gone with RTV silicone rubber to replace the end seals. Fel-Pro included a note that exactly described one of the leaks that I had; the water passage on the intake face of the head had some corrosion caused by the failure of the original gasket. If this is severe, the face needs to be resurfaced somehow, or the new gasket will not seal it.
