The two-speed setting, which can be adjusted to accommodate a variety of body zones, is one of the defining characteristics of this product. It removes each hair neatly without snagging or pinching, and I only required two passes before the skin felt much smoother. I like the lower speed for my arms and underarms since it pulls each hair cleanly. The motor's soft hum scarcely increased in loudness when I moved to the higher speed for my legs and bikini line, and it readily lifted even the coarsest hairs. I was able to get the desired results because of this. This versatility not only helped me save time, but it also enabled me to treat my complete body with a single device, which eliminated the need for two or more different pieces of equipment. In light of the fact that the epilator can be completely recharged, I brought it along with me on a recent weekend trip. The battery indication ring that was located around the power button never fluctuated while the treatment was in progress, and a single charge of two hours was sufficient to provide sufficient runtime for three full-body treatments. The fact that the charging port is recessed behind a sliding cover is something that I really enjoy. This ensures that it is safe from dust and moisture regardless of whether I am placing it on a wet bathroom counter or putting it in my toiletries bag. It seemed that the presence of steam softened each hair follicle, which made the process of hair removal even more pleasant. This occurred when the device was switched on and placed under warm water. I cleaned the detachable head under the faucet after I had finished epilating; the smooth plastic housing and the wide-tooth head design served to prevent hairs from being stuck, which made it possible for me to quickly rinse the head without having to brush it. This purple epilator is way less intimidating than I expected. The 32 tweezers do the job quickly, and I like that I can use it after a shower when my skin is softer. The head pops off for cleaning, which keeps it hygienic and ready for next time. The two speed settings are great—slower for sensitive areas like underarms, and faster for legs. It does pinch a little at first, but after a couple of uses, my skin adjusted and it barely bothered me. The results last much longer than shaving, so I’m not constantly reaching for a razor. The rechargeable battery holds up well. I’ve used it multiple times on a single charge, and it’s small enough to toss in a travel bag. The bonus eyebrow trimmers were a nice touch, and they actually work better than I expected for quick touch-ups. I usually stick to shaving, but I decided to try this out after reading that it was gentle enough for beginners. Setup was simple right out of the box. The device is lightweight and easy to hold, I started with the lower speed setting and tried it on a small section of my leg to test how my skin would react. It did sting a bit at first, but it was tolerable and felt more like a series of light pinches than anything sharp. The good thing is that the sensation gets easier with each use. With the two speed it gave me the flexibility to stay gentle on more sensitive area like my underarms, while using the faster setting on my legs for efficiency. It didn’t remove every single hair in one pass, but I didn’t really expect it to. After going over each section twice, the results were smooth. I also like that it’s waterproof. Using it after a warm shower made the process more comfortable, and cleaning the head afterward was easy. The included cleaning brush is helpful for keeping the tweezers clear.
