I am very please with this privacy planter. It is well engineered, sturdy & easily assembled. There was one area during assembly where I had a question. I emailed the company and had a reply answer in about 20 minutes. I then had a follow up question & again had a prompt answer. I put it on an end on my covered balcony. It provides just enough privacy without blocking my view entirely. I am very happy with it. I am not going to fill it with potting soil. I will place 2 planters in it & fill them with annuals. So if I move from this apartment, I will not have to empty out a lot of dirt. It matches the white vinyl railing perfectly on my 2nd floor apartment balcony. Be aware that it is quite heavy in the very well packaged box it comes in. I am a small woman and could not move it. A man with a hand truck brought it to my apartment for me. I assembled it on my living room floor. Then my son helped attach the upright back- that really does take 2 people. He easily slid it out the door onto my balcony & in place where I wanted it. Addendum- it is now 4 months later & this unit still looks brand new. It cleans easily with just a gentle wipe with a damp cloth & it looks like new again. It does not discolor or stain from plant droppings. The sun has not discolored it. It looks as perfect as it did on day one on my balcony. I highly recommend it!

I purchased this for privacy from some new neighbors who spent a bit too much time looking into my yard... Super easy to put together, although the directions are wrong -- even after reading reviews about the misinformation, I still attached the long posts the wrong way (screw heads facing toward the front instead of the back, yet it's no big deal...) This thing is super flimsy and lightweight on its own - it'll blow over if you breathe on it too hard! I got 3 20+ pound landscaping bricks from Home Depot, put those in with some landscape fabric on top (some holes cut throughout for drainage - and drilled multiple holes in the bottom for drainage also ) and filled with dirt and flowers. It's now heavy enough to not blow over. I'm considering adding a middle support bar up the back, because that still rocks a bit in the wind... I bought some locking wheel casters on Amazon, as I wanted to be able to move it around -- SO glad I did, as we had a major hail storm and I ran out and just rotated it against the house and the flowers were protected by the eaves! It's also nice to be able to rotate the flowers out of the sun a bit on super hot days... I also got some fake succulents and purple viny things (also from good old Amazon) to add to it a bit... After all of that, I LOVE IT! It provides the privacy I was seeking and it looks great. Hopefully it holds up and can be used for at least a few summers to come!

Love this, covers my trashcans side by side nicely and my trail to my garage, pair this with a windscreen and you've got great privacy with a beautiful display. When I move my trashcans to the street for trash day the wind will blow over the planter so you will need to use the anchors they provide or use heavy pavers to weigh down the planter.

Great real wood planter with ample privacy! Fairly easy to assemble- I recommend laying out all pieces first since they aren’t labeled by letter. Smells of wood & only required a drill to put together. Was able to assemble in 1.5 hours with a 4 y/o assistant!

This item is top heavy so when the wind comes, it will blow it over. It blew it on to one of my windows and knocked out the flowers broke the screen fortunately it did not break the window. We tried bricks, but ended up using cement block which do not hold it. I should have returned it. I don't recommend this item.

If you’re looking for privacy, invest in a fence. If you’re looking for something sturdy, be prepared to pick up a lot of dirt. I wanted a privacy option that didn’t require building a fence and would also give me more space to grow plants. However, the spaces between the slats are too wide for my taste. Not a big deal, since I figured I could grow some climbing plants this summer to help with that. The most frustrating problem is that a strong wind knocks them over even when I add bricks underneath the dirt. Unfortunately, there’s no grass or soil I can tether them to, so I feel like I spent a lot of money on a product that doesn’t serve my needs. Despite my regret, I do want to mention that they do look nice and are easy to build. If your needs and situation are different from mind, go for it. Otherwise, be prepared to be disappointed.
