I love changing my bedding. I cannot use those lovely fluffy white comforters because I have two dark black dogs and their hair gets everywhere, so I need to use darker bedding. Eddie Bauer is not just a well recognized brand name, but this comforter is an incredible value, double sided and the filling does not bunch up after being washed (which I have to do often because of the dogs). The filling stays in place, which has to do with the QUALITY. I love the feel, I personally think it's light weight, but not a summer weight. I use a weighted blanket for myself because hubby hates heavy covers. He complains a bit about it, I don't understand why. I truly think it is an excellent mid weight comforter set and I just LOVE it. ... show more

I strongly recommend against purchasing this. I had a different Eddie Bauer comforter before this one that was great, but it’s very clear the quality has gone significantly downhill over the years. Upon washing this for the first time, all of the material inside each of the squares stitched in the fabric bunched together, clumping into a pile inside each square. The comforter now feels uneven and with a clumpy/bumpy texture. I’ve tried to smooth it back out, but it’s all stuck together and cannot be evened out again. To be sure, this comforter is also much lighter than what they used to make, but this didn’t bother me. This is the first time I’ve ever written a review but this comforter is such a much miss it motivated me to write this. Really wish I wasn’t outside of my return window to send this back. Complete waste of money, as soon as you wash it you’ll need to buy a new one. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The comforter is so soft and plush, but not too heavy. I ordered a king size because I wanted an oversized comforter for my queen size bed, but it really doesn’t seem big enough to be a king. If you’re hoping this will fit your king size bed then you’re going to be disappointed. But still soooo comfy! ... show more

This is soft and very comfy. I sleep hot but like the weight. This comforter is the best of both worlds. It does not hold heat.

Like this comforter, colors are true to the photo. Bought a king size for our queen bed that has a thick mattress on it. Fits perfectly. I had never purchased a “used-like new” item from Amazon before, and looked up the definition prior to ordering. This worked for me, but be advised. The definition on line indicates that the “used-like new” means the item’s packaging was damaged. The packaging was intact, but I found long, white pet hairs covering it as well as a hole in the seam at the top. I washed the items and fixed the whole. Fortunately, we don’t have pet allergies, or that could have been an issue. ... show more

I absolutely love it! I do recommend a king size comforter for a queen bed (I like my bedding oversized). I added 3 red accent pillows plus red sheets. The comforter has a very silky feel to it, excellent quality!!!
