I bought this e.l.f. lip gloss in three different colors because of the inexpensive price point. The consistency of the gloss is smooth, not sticky, but thick enoughto coat and stay on the lips. It smells really good too, like vanilla. I've purchased other brands that smelled really weird so it's nice to have a nice subtle scent. The gloss is smooth, slightly moisturizing, but mostly just coats the lips. It has a flat applicator without a pointed tip so of you get a darker color you'll have to work harder to get a precise application. The colors I picked are Whisper Pink (a subtle nude pink), Mauve Glitz (more of a coral than Mauve, has shimmery glitter), and Bubbles (different listing but same brand, clear with shimmer). The whisper pink is too subtle for me. I bought these so I could add a touch of color to my lips but this literally looks like clear gloss on me. I figured it was so subtle I gave it to my teen daughter who doesn't wear make-up yet. The Mauve Glitz is more my style, with an orange undertone. I like that it is orange-y but if you're expecting mauve, you will likely be disappointed. If they called it Coral Glitz it would be more appropriate. There isn't a lot in each tube. I've had these for little over a month with inconsistent use and it's already hard to get to the gloss at the bottom of the tube. There isn't much accessible gloss in each tube. For the price, it's a great way to try lots of different colors. But if you love the color, you'll probably run out quickly. ... show more

I really like the color of this lip lacquer, it is very flattering and great for a nude lip. Although the staying power isn’t amazing, it holds up pretty well for a gloss. The formula feels hydrating and is fairly sticky, but I don’t mind that in a gloss. It does have a semi-strong chemical scent but that fades away quickly after application. If you are looking for an inexpensive nude gloss with decent staying power I would say this is worth trying. ... show more
