After reading through many of the reviews, I reluctantly decided to order these. And I'm glad I did! Unlike some commenters, I received mine in an authentic Doc Martens box and they definitely are authentic, high quality boots. They do take a while to break in so don't expect to be wearing these all day long straight out of the box. A couple hours a day for a couple weeks and they're there. I'm from Canada so with the shipping cost and the conversion rate (which is painful lately!) these cost me around $80 CAD, but still cheaper than anywhere else for brand new Docs! As for the fit, these may seem to run big but it's actually because they're a little on the wide side. They do fit true to size but they're roomier than other boots would be... not a problem for me as I think they look killer with loose laces, just tossed on with cuffed jeans peeking out the top! I'm excited for the impending fall weather so I can layer these up with some knitted socks. These boots just... ugh... they make every outfit spectacular. They make no outfit spectacular! They're just amazing. They do it all and then some. Combat boots are in BIG TIME and for good reason... might as well get yourself the authentic, the original - get yourself some Docs. ... show more

I was very worried about getting these shoes (I got them in UK size 7 which is US size 9) because of all the stories I've heard with breaking them in and people getting the wrong size. But, they came right on time and fit like a glove. They didn't hurt at all when I put them on which I found very surprising. The only thing that felt uncomfortable was the bridge part of the boot that felt a tad tight (which was expected). Other than that, the shoes are great and they look lovely! The only thing I'll say is that wear socks that are above the ankle just in case because you don't want to hurt your ankles. ... show more

Such a good quality! I was waiting for a month because i'm russian, so, dear seller, sorry for my delay with a feedback! Now about boots: Amazing! I've had a bad, bad experience with a Martens, my last pare of boots (was bought in Russia) was a fake. So i have been using them for a 2 years (not bad). But now i can see a total difference. Different package, different leather, different smell! Leather is really quality. I can see a water repellent on leather, good shoelaces, good flexible sole with not too hard rubber. It's important, i've seen a check (control) sticker. So, i used them for 4 days (And in Russia now a REALLY BAD weather, guys) and i'm absolutely happy. I needed a not too much - pare of fine boots and i got it. If you have any doubts - stop it :) Take it and don't be afraid! Delievery to a pick-up-point was very fast and safety too.The. i've had to wait a month for a delievery to Russia but it was another company specialized in delievery to Russia. And i forgot! PROS: They are light and comfortable, though my right boot feels tight across the top of my foot. My right foot IS a 1/2 size bigger than my left (I know, weird), so if you're thinking you need to size up think of this: I wear a 9 or a 9 1/2, depending on the style of the shoe. Since my left is a "true" 9, my left boot fits perfectly--not too tight or too big. My right foot, like I stated, is about 1/2 size larger, and even though the boot fits, it is a snug fit. However, since they are leather, after some breaking in time, the right boot should feel like the left boot. This is the scenario with nearly 100% of the shoes I own. I like the price, but as some have said, I wonder if they are authentic Dr. Marten's. My husband, and avid fan, checked them out, and he claims they are "real" though perhaps not exactly like the ones he remembers from the 80s and 90s. He said his pair were from England, but mine are made in Thailand. I like the way they look. They look "authentic," like Dr. Marten's are supposed to look--not an obvious fake. CONS: When I first opened the box, I was a little disappointed because they looked a little on the cheap side. The leather felt thin, and the stitching on the actual boot part is not heavy duty, but the yellow stitching around the sole looks sturdy. There is some overlapping of the yellow stitching, but it does look/feel sturdy. I read what others stated about these being either warehouse rejects or fakes, and the stamp in the leather (near the heel) is missing. Also, the tongue in the right boot falls awkwardly--to the right; and so far, it stays there, no matter how much I pull it, adjust it. I'm hoping it eventually learns to stay centered because it's annoying. The tongue is squeaky but a little shoe oil should fix that. OVERALL: 4 out of 5 stars. They are comfortable, look cool, and the price is right. It's only when you stop and really inspect the show, that might think these are not real Dr. Marten's. UPDATE***** I've realized these are authentic dr. Martens. I still don't like the leather looks kinda thin but I think w wear it will improve. Also VERY comfortable insoles. These are MUCH better than the "authentic" dr. Martens the ones made in England. But the fit is loose in the heel a bit so I have to wear extra rick socks. Do not order a size up. ... show more
