Amazing game, super fun and replayable. Highly recommend a Pro controller, otherwise your thumbs will take a beating. Got it on sale, don't know if I'd pay full price for it ($60).

Donkey Kong Country Returns is a fantastic remaster of a platforming gem. It retains the charm, challenge, and creativity of the original while fixing its biggest flaw: motion controls. It may not reach the sheer polish of Tropical Freeze, but it’s a worthy adventure that stands tall in the Donkey Kong legacy. The two-player co-op mode is still chaotic fun. While it can be a bit tough to coordinate, it adds a layer of hilarity and teamwork that's great for couch play. Whether you’re a longtime fan or new to the jungle, this one’s worth the climb. Great game, it keeps the classic vibe of the SNES games but with a new 3d look. I got it after the new update that Nintendo put out so it looks better playing it on my switch 2 and you have dixie kong also added. I think the price could be lower considering how old it is (originally released on the wii) but other than that it's a good one to add to your collection of games ... show more
