When I bought my DJI Osmo Pocket 3 it didn't come with the tripod attachment. I bought this separately and I am sure glad I did. The Tripos if purpose built for the Osmo and holds the camera just fine with a small foot print. The functionality is smooth - it opens and closes very smoothly and also serves as a grip extension when folded up under the camera. The ¼ thread fits perfectly on the camera and can be removed quickly when not needed. It weighs nearly nothing and this is appreciated when carrying a bunch of accessories in your pocket or case.
