The greatest drone you can get for the money!!

Size: DJI Mavic 2 Zoom with Smart Controller

This drone is absolutely fantastic, awesome, great! It takes a while to understand controls, to get used to it. Don't hurry up, learn little by little. It's cheaper to gradually improve your drone's pilot skills, than to buy another drone ;) Be careful, this drone is made of plastic and it is fragile, but it's light and flies great. But, DO NOT FLY IN RAIN or in high humidity/fog, it will damage the drone. Follow the laws and regulations, get a license from FAA, and fly responsibly, and you will have A LOT OF FUN!! Continue. The drone is very responsive, but you can control it. The smart controller is a "must buy", it operates with the drone better than a standard controller, it has stronger signal through the wireless connection (dual band), and makes flights more enjoyable. Also, with the smart controller (and with the correct settings) you can secure your privacy better, because China is WATCHING, remember it! If you operate with a standard controller, you will have to install all the drone's applications into your phone, and the data will be stored on Chinese servers (controlled by Communist Party in accordance to laws of China), which may jeopardize your privacy and even identity ("identity theft risk"). By using a smart controller, you can avoid these risks. Also, these smart controllers have very nice bright screen (you can buy a screen protector apart, there are good ones on Amazon). Joysticks come together with a smart controller, they are hidden under antennas. Be careful flying in darkness, the drone's camera is great for a day-time flights, but doesn't have night vision mode (but you can buy a night or thermal vision camera apart and install it if you're a legal permanent resident being in the United States). This drone has phenomenal capabilities, and can be used for filming, for security/LE measures, and just for fun! Don't get surprised when you will start enjoying these flights even more than you expected! The Chinese engineers did a great job making this model, and now (finally!) healthy capitalist relations between our countries help everybody to be happy, as it should be! Best DJI drone I’ve owned! Happy Flying!!

Size: DJI Mavic 2 Zoom with Controller

I love my New Zoom! I sold my DJI Phantom 3 Pro and my DJI Spark to get this one. I love the Zoom!!! It’s not only easy to fly, but it takes amazing video and pictures! I can’t wait to use it at our summer camp and to take it hunting! I want to film some hunts but will need to figure out how to do it w/ out spooning the quarry! The clarity when I put it on my laptop was mind blowing!!!!! I haven’t shot the videos that I want to yet but just so simple shots around the house, but I’m stunned by how amazing the colors pop and the incredible clarity. The Zoom option is the reason I bought it and I was really pleased w/ how much it can zoom in! I often will forget I have it on and only later when descending realize how far I’m up! It is the best DJI drone I’ve owned and I think their best product out thus far! If your thinking about it, do it! I promise you’ll won’t be disappointed and it will blow you away w/ the pics and videos you can take! Happy flying ... show more

BEAUTIFUL colors and crispy image quality!

Size: DJI Mavic 2 Pro with Controller

The media could not be loaded. Only thing I dislike about the Mavic 2 Pro is that the battery doesn't last long, especially in the windy beach area I live. I get 20-25 minutes, just because the bird is always self-correcting as it fights the wind gusts. I go easy on the throttle and speed, but still, this area is windy. Other than the battery not lasting long, this thing yields great, satisfying results. You don't need to have prior experience flying RC aircraft, because the thing stays in flight by itself. It automatically does all the corrections and compensations. All you need to do is watch your surroundings and go up, down, left or right as you move the camera gimbal to your liking. Once you get used to the controls, it's intuitive, plus you also can configure them to your preference. This thing has very advanced systems to stay in impressively stable flight while you focus on your image composition. It comes with Beginner Mode enabled, so the drone doesn't get more than 100 feet away from you or higher than 98 feet, and it also restricts its speed and control sensitivity. It also won't take off without a GPS signal lock. It's a nice feature. I used it for three battery changes to really learn everything before disabling it. This type of camera drone feels very different from RC helicopters and smaller drones, which require constant control input. As long as you respect the law and fly safe, you'll find a new source of joy and creativity in a flying camera. Everything looks different from up there. You have so many more possibilities for composing photo and video scenes. Anyway, the colors on the camera are very natural and lifelike. Those shots I enclosed are DNG files converted to JPEG on Snapseed without any adjustments. Last three shots are JPEGs straight out of the drone so you can see that Hasselblad's HNCS color profile look is more than just marketing non-sense. The video I enclosed was shot in H.265 in the regular color mode, not in DLog-M or HLG, to show you what choices the drone made. I do prefer DLog-M to preserve highlights, and to color-grade the footage to my preference. As you can see in that video, the highlights are blown-out in the waves. I highly recommend the Mavic 2 Pro. That little Sony-powered Hasselblad camera is the real deal. Videos look great, too, but you want this model for the photo quality and colors. There are newer DJI drones now, such as the Air 2S, which I also own, and the recently released Mavic 3, but the sensor crop on the Mavic 2 Pro's 4K HQ Mode gives it a cinematic look. It's a unique aesthetic to this drone, plus its video is not ultra-sharp for being 4K, so it looks more filmic and less digital. Peace! ... show more
