Great mirror. Easily portable and it has a touch light that is on the large middle mirror that is very bright and useful when powered by the USB cable. I have tried it with batteries as well (especially when I misplace the cable or am not near a plug-in/outlet) and the lights are not even half as bright as when it is plugged into an outlet. But that’s been the case for many different lights and electronic items that I have owned, so it’s not the mirrors fault by any means. The mirror is great and can be adjusted to a number of angles and degrees. The magnification in all the mirrors is crystal clear and quite wonderful if you ask me. I love the way it closes when not in use and it’s pretty compact so it can be stored away until needed. However the base/stand is an oval shaped bottom and I find myself more often Then not tipping the mirror over backwards due to the length and weight of the top of it (I want to literally lay it horizontal at times, and I can’t because it will just tip backwards. Every time. ) I understand why it does it and I admit it’s a little rare to find someone who wants to tilt it back as far as I do, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that it honestly tips over and that I honestly believe it would be more stable and secure if the base was a square or rectangle and a little bigger in comparison to the degree at which it can tilt. Anyways, wonderful mirror, perfect image, beautiful magnifications, and sleek design. Very portable, useful, and lightweight. Basically exactly what I was looking for. Thank you.

I bought this mirror in the gold color and it fits in perfectly with the vibe/decor in my combination office and closet. I recently moved into a new home and the lighting in my makeup area is terrible. I shopped around for a lighted mirror and this one was, by far, the most reasonably priced! The only thing that concerned me was the people who reported how hot the charging cable got and how it started to melt on them. I don't want any fires in my house, thank you very much!! Now that I've had the mirror for a couple of weeks I can tell you that it works SO WELL!! I only plug it into the charger when I am doing my makeup, it does not get super hot, then I unplug it when I'm done. I'm not worried about the charger melting or becoming a fire hazard during that time so, that worry has been washed away! PROS: - adjustable lighting on the mirror - the option to use a charger instead of batteries if you have an outlet nearby - the option to use batteries if you're on the go! - folds up nicely, which makes it easy to carry along with you - sturdy base - the array of normal and magnifying mirrors for all purposes CONS: NONE! I genuinely have none at the moment! I'm not a makeup professional so there's a chance I could be missing something, but for the average person just looking to crush their daily makeup routine, this is for you! If you're sitting on the fence about purchasing this, just do it!

Pro: it’s bright and big Cons: it’s not compact so terrible for travel. It doesn’t use USBC so you have to use the provided cord which is not standard. Also, the battery option does NOT last very long (you’ll notice severely lower light quality pretty quickly) so again, you have to have it plugged in with the weird cord to be bright.

I love this mirror enough to have bought it twice, but the port for the power cord (micro usb) is loose and has never been reliably functional whatsoever with either model from day one. It's insanely frustrating. I've got duct tape wrapped around the port to try to hold it in, but if you even breathe near it, it dulls the lights or goes out because it's not getting a power supply due to the crap port. As others have said, you can use aaa batteries instead, but they burn out in a day whether you've used it much or not. It doesn't store power from being hooked up, so it sucks having to deal with keeping the lights on. I've gone so far as to out y phone flashlight facing up under it because I couldn't deal with the every-2-seconds power/light loss and having to try to adjust the position of the cord.
