This blade works very well. It is quite sharp. Also, like ALL blade attachments for DeWalt Multi-Tools it can be mounted sideways on the blade attachment area so that cutting or scrapping things can be easier done. This is a scrapping blade but it can be used to cut many items. I used it to cut up carpet that was removed from my home. It cut through the carpet and jute backing was ease. BE CAREFUL this blade is fairly big and will cut your fingers quite easily if you are not careful. Keep your hands away from the blade. ... show more

The deck paint isn't sticking much in some places but it sticks like mad in other places!! This scraper has made stripping that paint a much more tolerable task. I am quite happy with it. I took a star off on the rating because I wish it would retain its edge better. I am already needing to sharpen the edge after just getting through the top surfaces. My deck is roughly 10' x 25' and only maybe 20% still had paint on it. The ability to use various angles and pressure to keep from tearing up the wood pretty is easy as well. Made quick work breaking seal/removing silicon bead on granite countertops. Much faster than trying to score then wedge to pry up. I was able to go around all cabinet island bases in about 3-4 minutes total and just list off granite and little to no damage to cabinets.
