These Markers are Washable. Exactly as printed on the box, Exactly as Advertised. The Markers easily clean from little hands and from the clothes. They colors are Bright. The Markers are durable. The Markers are capped regularly after each use and they have lasted without drying up for nearly a year. I just bought additional sets of these Washable Markers to replace the existing set (a few markers are drying up now after a year of use). We also bought sets for her little friends from daycare. Our little girl has been using these since she was 15 months old. She has a Cardboard Tray (the cardboard bottom that comes with a case of bottled water). The Markers & the paper or coloring book stay in the Cardboard Tray. The tray is on the floor or on the table (not the sofa, not the bed, not walking around the house...). I can say we have had No experience with coloring Walls, furniture, Pets, etc. It is not so difficult now to avoid the Markers wandering around the house. The Markers stay in the Tray or they are taken away. If she can't keep them in the tray, she plays with something else.

Great markers. And super washable. I bought after furnishing was written on with dry erase markers etc ! And furniture was written on but with these markers washed right out ! And literally rinses off skin with water !!

Crayola markers are the standard by which all other markers should be judged. They come in a handy re-closeable box for convenient storage in whatever space you plan to store them. As far as the markers themselves, all I can really say is they work! The colors show up vibrantly on a variety of surfaces (I personally tried regular paper and craft paper). The marker tip is not so fine that you can’t color in an object quickly, but not too broad so that you can’t draw fine details if you want. And the best part about these markers is that if you get the ink anywhere but where you want it, it washes right off with a little water and elbow grease. This washability includes painted walls (which I wasn't brave enough to test, but I assume they wouldn't say it if it wasn't true). What more could you ask for? There are plenty of imitators out there as far as art supplies, but at the end of the day Crayola shows why they’re the brand to trust for all of your artwork needs. These markers are no exception!

These markers are a LIFE SAVER! Unfortunately my son is in that delicate age where he loves drawing mommy pictures ...on EVERYTHING. When we were living in a house it didn't matter too much-- just a punishment and a fresh coat of paint we already had stored in the garage, but now we're living in an apartment so any scribbles on the wall are shaved right off my security deposit. And just so you know!!! These do work on carpet. My baby boy was making a poster on the floor and got marker ink everywhere. I turned on the carpet shampooeer and only had to go over it once! As for my son, he loves all the colors and the number one thing he always draws is a rainbow. He's a little on the small side, so I like that there markers are a little slimmer to fit his hand better-- definnently less mess. Mommy and son product definitely approved!

Washable markers are NOT always washable. I’ve learned that the hard way. Now, I will ONLY use Crayola’s “Ultra Washable” markers, because their other “washable” markers don’t actually wash out. I am annoyed that the Pipsqueaks don’t come in ultra washable… those are just “washable” and often do not wash out. Stick with “ULTRA washable.”

I Purchased these for a Backpack Project for inner city schools supported by our church and community. I selected this particular set because of brand name of Crayola, my own experiences with my children with the product, good user ratings, and price. I decided that I would give the entire box to one lucky backpack recipient. I know that the colors are long lasting, but you cannot leave the lids off for any length of time. Kids often prefer the markers over crayons, even though actual crayons are a much better medium for them to learn art and color blending.
