If you're already in the Craftsman VERSASTACK ecosystem, this Deep Tool Box is the beefy storage component you've been missing. It’s exactly what you need when a standard shallow toolbox just won't cut it. Built for Bulk This thing is deep. Like, really deep. It easily handles bulkier items that usually cause a storage headache, such as my cordless drill and impact driver (with batteries attached!), or large circular saw blades and extension cords. The 17-inch width keeps it manageable, but the depth is where it shines, eliminating that frustrating "cram and slam" routine. The Stacking Advantage As expected from VERSASTACK, the locking mechanism is solid. It snaps securely onto the rolling base, the regular toolbox, or the small parts organizer. This is fantastic for lugging everything from the garage to the worksite in one neat stack. When you need just the deep box, the large top handle is comfortable and reliable.     • Nice tool box at a modest price
Lately, I've been dividing my tools by the type of project and I wanted a toolbox to store my plumbing and PEX repair parts all in one place. This Craftsman was a great choice for the price, and so far, it's been exactly what I wanted. Overall, it's ruggedly made and seems like it will last. I live in a hot coastal climate (NC), so I do worry whether the metal latches will hold up to the heat, humidity and salt air here - time will tell. Otherwise, they are easy to open and close and seem rugged enough. Everything else is well-made and all the parts fit together well. It is larger than it looks in the picture...mine has various PEX crimpers, fittings, tubing cutters and so on, and it's barely half full. Still, I like that the length is long enough to accommodate some of the longer-handled tools I have, and there's plenty of room for what I need. It has a small tray inside - I have mixed feelings...seems useful, but nothing I wanted to put inside seemed to fit well...sounds good on paper and I'm sure I'll find a use for it, but doesn't add much value so far. I'll probably buy a few others to store other specialized tools that I use for certain projects...no trouble recommending it to anyone in need of a medium-sized toolbox that can fit a variety of needs. ... show more

    • Great toobox that is super well-built, as would be expected by Craftsman.
My only caveat for you, would be to be very deliberate and slow when opening the clasps, as they come off very easily. Otherwise, it's a great toolbox, and it's strong as all get out, to the point where I could even use it as a bench and I weigh well over 200 pounds! 235 to be exact!

A very nice quality box at the right price. Does not weigh a lot and holds a lot of tools. I love the red craftsman colors and the design of the box is very functional. This fits nicely on the drawer tool kit from craftsman and the two of them are exactly the height of an F150 bed. For the price this is great. It's plastic and the metal clips are a bit flimsy, but it holds a lot and can be banged around. You won't regret a buy.

Its good, spacious for any starter tool sets or someone just trying to find a solid tool box, I've been using it for a couple of weeks and it works great, I haven't used the stacking with it yet, cause I just bought it for it being bigger. Its a good size but not issue space wise. Its got a water seal.. which dont know where you would need that for unless it got flooded and tou want your tools safe. It can hold those very long extensions, the ones that are a couple feet long. Handle feels good to, for plastic. Also the little tray it comes with is nice for your smaller tools, not to mention it can be placed in the middle right or left side of the box due to the molding of the plastic. ... show more
