Description

Eliminate the need to buy all your tools individually with this full CRAFTSMAN range of pliers, fixed snap rings, and oil filter. The pliers have a multi- zone bi-material grip that allows for dedicated comfort and secure grip zones. Across the range, these pliers can provide you with precision machined jaws (ideal for twisting, gripping, holding, and cutting a variety of shapes and sizes), compound action pliers that provide increased cutting force, and induction hardened edges that stay sharper longer. The locking pliers have easy release handles for a one-handed operation with no pinch. You can control the jaw openeing and locking pressure with the adjustable screw. The wire strippers have many functions: strips and cuts 10 - 22 AWG, cuts bolts to size and leaves perfect lead thread, and crimps insulated, non-insulated terminals. The Locking Oil Filter Pliers are a universal tool to remove engine oil filters between 2-1/2-in and 4-1/2-in (64mm-116mm) in diameter. Large rubber coated grips provide excellent leverage for stubborn filters. Specially shaped teeth within the plier jaws help grip metal engine oil filters.

Basic craftsman tools. Solid and heavy in the hand, that’s what I’m use to. Looks like it could last as long as the old ones. Most of the tools from 1969 are gone, but I have most craftsman sets from 1980s. Pliers from craftsman, screwdrivers from snap-on, ratchet wrenches from Mac. Been using craftsman tools my whole life. I was disappointed when sears was going under and sold out to Black and Decker with non US made tools. But it seams like these days most of our tools even from the tool trucks all come from overseas. I do not feel like the quality of craftsman has changed and now I have more places to take my tools in for warranty replacement. The quantity of pliers in this set is awesome.
