I cannot overstate how nice this helmet is. The first time I ordered a Large and it was a little too loose for my liking. I ordered this medium and it fit perfectly. The screen is truly clear, no distortion. It closes tightly and cuts out noise a lot better than expected for a 3/4 helmet. The sun screen seems polarized but even if it isn’t, it does a decent job blocking out a bright setting sun. The fit is just a little bit snug. I don’t see having any break in time issues. I ride a Challenger with the power plus front speakers. With the visor up I hear all the music, but with the visor down it cuts out a lot of the higher frequencies, but I can still hear it. If music quality it paramount perhaps a Cardo or Sena will help. I got the white helmet and the shell is scuff free. The paint looks high quality. If it sound like I’m gushing forgive me. Ordering a helmet thru Amazon can be a dicey endeavor. I feel like I hit the jackpot here.

The media could not be loaded. I've owned dozens of helmets over the years and this one surpassed my very expensive TS Electro by far. The fit is great. No more chin straps to slap the crap out of you. The ratchet style buckle slips right in and adjust to your fit right then. The release is a small but easily found pull strap that opens the ratchet buckle easier that anything I've owned. The clear visor is probable double the thickness of any others and the tinted "copter" style visor comes down and goes up easily via a slide on the bottom left. Excellent value and very well though out design.

Comfort-- fits me fine, i got the large,, i like a helmet of about 7 1/4 or just over that. the air vents on top function, unlike some helmets where the wind seems to go Over, not into them, i can actually feel the wind pushing into the helmet, so thats nice. Chin strap--- doesnt secure quite tight enough. not sure why the adjustment is so loose, but you shouldnt be able to get your finger easily between the strap and helmet.. ive thought about wrapping this with a soft cloth, to just fill in the gap. comfortwise, its nice. it feels well made, the clear visor comes down far enough to give you better than average wind protection. the flip down sunshade is adequate for the most part. however, when you flip UP the clear visor, it has a heavy bottom section or a place for your hand to grab, that ends up RIGHT in your line of sight at the light, its a bit annoying, as i like to lift it up on a hot day, when sitting at the light.. and this bottom edge obscures that.. some of these are very minor, and on a different "head" might not come into play.. my head i guess, is average, not big, not small, so the chin strap issue on someone smaller, will be just that, an issue.. it was borderline whether i wanted to keep this helmet or not just on that.. i like a tight snug fit, its simply safer.. but in the end, i think i can live with it, but will wrap it up in a cloth with velcro. not ideal, but good enough.. you may think differently.

Comfortable protection at a great price. I work as an MSF ridercoach in Phoenix, AZ. I wanted a good open face helmet for riding demos. The amazing ventilation and light weight make this helmet a welcome addition to my riding gear. The ratchet buckle system makes it Fast to put on and take off. I only wear it on thevrange, and on surface streets to and from classes. It gets a bit noisy at 55-50, but it is an open face helmet. And the sunshade isn't optically perfect, but the distortion isn't so bad as to be a distraction. If you want a lightweight, affordable, super well ventilated helmet, with features that punches well above it's price, this is the helmet to get!

I really like the helmet but the fit is just terrible. The stitching on the liner is thicker than the foam and rubs on my forehead. The fit is good, the liner is just terrible with thick seams that are sewn together. After some research I found out that LS1 uses the same helmet for extra small, small and medium helmets, they just put a different liner in it for each size. If you wear a Medium helmet like I do the liner is paper thin with thickly sewn seams that bulge out well past the foam. It's like having a thick shoelace constantly grinding against my forehead. I ended up cutting the seams out of the liner and taped the foam padding together. As for the venting, the vents on top don't seem to do much of anything. I can ride at highway speeds with the vents open and not notice much of anything. My Bell helmet on the other hand has air flowing all through the vents. This could be a good thing though, the helmet is fairly quiet with very little wind noise. The shield fogs up pretty easily but there's a detent just before it's all the way down so you can open the shield just enough to get some airflow. Do Not buy if you wear a Medium helmet.
