For these boots I needed to buy a shoehorn so I could get them on. Once on, however, they are the most comfortable boots I’ve ever owned! I wear them all day teaching, and not even a twinge of pain by day’s end. For me, that’s practically a miracle. My only regret is that I didn’t buy them earlier when they were half the price. I love these shoes. I bought them to wear on a winter trip to Paris. I did add an additional insole because I walk so much on trips, though this might not be necessary. The temp was about 25 degrees and I walked a minimum of 7 miles a day, all in these shoes, and have zero complaint about comfort or warmth. Amazing! The upper area of the shoe does hit the leg in a way that can be uncomfortable, especially when walking so much, but I will not knock the shoe because I imagine that is the case with any boot that is this tall.     • Hard to put on
The top of the shoe is very snug so it was extremely difficult to even put my foot inside. Once on, the toe part fit but was tight at the top. The shoe lacks flexibility so it was difficult to walk around in. I had to return it.
