I bought these Columbia shoes for everyday walking and light workouts. They feel very lightweight and comfortable right out of the box, with good cushioning and support. These are the most comfortable shoes I've put on my feet in a long time. So cushy and bouncy. Waterproofing is great. I work in an animal shelter where we use a power washer and it keeps my feet almost completely dry. Only downside is the last pair I bought, they got smelly fast. Washing them only helped a few days. These shoes are so very comfortable, and nice looking style. They appear to be well made. Soles seem great on wet surfaces, no slipping. Supportive insoles give a cushioned feel as you walk. There was no breaking in period. They felt perfect from the first time I slipped them on.

These are great shoes. Not as good as my more expensive Asic gel keyano, but similar and a good quality. I love the off white color to wear with beige. Brought them to Italy and walked all over and hiked and they did great. Would buy again! No breaking in, super comfy.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: very comfortable. Big toe box, stable forefront and narrow heel (no slipping). Kept feet dry while walking in wet grass. Perfect for walking- stable, nice cushion, responsive without a high stacker. I wear either 8.5-9B and 8.5B fit well. Great sneaker.

Theyve just arrived and Ill update once I try them out on a hike. So far though they feel amazing just walking around for while. Very lightweight and comfortable cushioning. In terms of sizing Im usually a size 7 in womens. For this shoe I had to size down down to 6.5. I usually go by cm as its a lot more accurate compared to US sizing, so I would suggest doing that instead. My size in cm usually equals a size 7 US womens, but looking at shoe's lable it says 23.5cm and 6.5 US. Update: Wore these for a short 2.5 mile hike and they helped keep my feet stay comfortable. The traction was great against uneven ground of rocks and tree roots. I really do wish Columbia would consider having a unisex alternative to their shoes. I find that the mens ones have better colors/design and more accommodating to wide feet, but they dont offer them in smaller sizes. Update 4 months later: Well I had to bring down my Review from 5 to 3 Stars because I'm pretty disappointed with the durability of these shoes considering their price tag. At 3 months I was already seeing a lot of wear on the outside and then at 4 months my feed have started to hurt mid hike, which didnt used to be the case while the shoes were new. I don't even use these shoes everyday of the week, and after 4 months they've really started to let me down. I'm now looking at an upgrade to Altras, whose price tag isn't that far from Columbia and the wide toe box and zero drop may be better for my feet. ... show more
